A unique feature of Mercure Jiefangbei is the laundry room located on the 14th floor, equipped with four washers and four dryers. This facility is perfect for guests who need to refresh their wardrobe during their stay. The room also offers other types of dryers, along with paper bags and mineral water for those waiting for their laundry. The hotel’s afternoon tea service is a delightful experience, offering a variety of treats. Guests can enjoy small mochi and yogurt one day, followed by small egg tarts with yogurt the next. These thoughtful touches add to the overall charm of the hotel. Breakfast at Mercure Jiefangbei predominantly features Chinese-style options, with highlights including the Chongqing xiao mian, expertly prepared by a friendly aunty, and soft, tiny cakes that are a treat to the palate. On the final day of my stay, the air conditioning in my room malfunctioned. The hotel staff promptly offered to move me to another room, demonstrating their commitment to guest satisfaction.
