Best stay for our China trip. The location is just minutes walk to Chaotianmen and Raffkes city with restaurants, minimarket, fruit shop and travel agent on the ground floor of the bulding. The owner very attentive and helpful. The room is actually whole apartment with complete amenities including washing machine and kitchen. The view from the bed was superb. Definitely will stay here again when visit Chongqing.

The room is clean but would need some deep cleaning in some parts. Your room is serviced and cleaned everyday. The bathroom and bed are very nice. Check-in process is done through wechat, don’t forget to check your messages on trip.com.
The view isn’t necessarily actually on the river which was somehow disappointing even though my side’s view wasn’t too bad as well. Also it would be great if the cleaning ladies would only use the service elevator, almost missed my train because I waited 15 minutes for space in the elevator around noon.

youth hostel with positive vibes. warm and cozy music playlist make you feel at home. staff all are young and dynamic ppl. its a one floor property so you can experience all activities, music, coffee corner, working desk, meal corner, from the momment you walk in . it is inside a building, you would need take public lift to get the hotel. building lobby a bit sketchy but dun worry its safe . for me , everything okay, just the bed is too old. its not sunken but it is so hard and i can feel the spring . i asked additional duvet to layer the mattress, the young boy gave it to me and asked me to settle my self bcs its not their or aunt's job. hehe . anyway, i recommend and would like stay here again .

We booked a room with friends on the spur of the moment. The housekeeper service was very good. We didn't know the way to the garage to pick us up. The room was tidy and clean. We were all very satisfied. We parked the car and basically didn't need to drive. There was a subway station downstairs, and we could walk to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. There were also many places to eat downstairs, and there was a washing machine, which was very convenient for washing clothes. Everyone was very satisfied with the room we booked this time, and the price was very favorable. Such a big room was very cheap, and we had a good stay. I will recommend friends to come here too.

The price is less than two hundred, and the experience is very good. This hotel is a Gemini with the Hilton Hotel. It is a quality apartment building with good security management. The front desk lady is the best staff I have ever met. No one is better. She is warm and hospitable, thoughtful and patient. She also upgraded us to a large end-house room for free. The lighting and ventilation are simply great, the space is very large, and the facilities are very complete. The landlord added us as a friend, sent us the location and check-in guide, and the check-in was very smooth. The overall feeling is very good. The room is also well decorated, clean and tidy, with a fresh style, a good environment, and the decoration layout and interior are very good. It is very warm and homely. The projector is very easy to use and very high-definition, and it is also very convenient to travel.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed! Located in the heart of the city, it’s close to all the main attractions and offers stunning views. The space is spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. I could even see the city while taking a bath. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. I totally recommend this place, and if I ever return to Chongqing, I’ll definitely book it again.

The apartment itself was fine. Really, the price and kind staff made up for some of the shortcomings. The pictures are not accurate, as mentioned in another review, but the future was comfortable and somewhat modern. The walls were a little dirty and the refrigerator had some mold because it was unplugged. No dishes or pans available, just a hot water kettle and glasses. The main issue was that the door off the kitchen that led to a small to the balcony didn’t close. The washing machine was too big and blocked the door from closing. Fortunately there was a second door between the kitchen and living room that did close. At the time this was the only apartment with a Western toilet available, so we just stayed. Aside from those things, the beds were comfortable, the heat worked well and check- in and communication with the staff was just fine. Staff members were kind. The elevators were slow so plan ahead. It’s easy to get a taxi or walk to surrounding tourists sites (20 minutes). There’s a Lawson convenience store downstairs for snacks and beverages. Deliveries can be dropped off at your apartment door. Overall a good stay for the price!

JJo TehThe property could benefit from some updates and maintenance. One of the queen bedrooms was converted from a balcony, making it extremely cold during winter. Additionally, the heater in one of the rooms next to the hall was not working, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep through the night.
The bathroom in one of the rooms remained choked throughout our stay, and overall, the bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned. The kitchen also lacked proper cleanliness, which was disappointing.
On a positive note, the view from the hall was decent, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to make up for the shortcomings in comfort and cleanliness.

The stay was amazing. perfectly clean for my room type. the only things need improvement is the electric is unstable especially when you use the washing machine and heater together. overall it's really nice with the price thats so cheap. can sleep 6 persons perfectly!!

BBenkeetgWe had a wonderful stay at FanDiao Homestay Chongqing. The unit had ax excellent view with the Hongya Dong right in full view.
The service staffs, especially Xiao Fan at FanDiao Homestay Chongqing was very helpful and friendly. We had a choked toilet system and sought help, XiaoFan even came up to assist to clear the choked toilet in the late hours of the night.
I really thank the staff at FanDiao and would highly recommend this Homestay with its excellent service to all travellers who wish to visit Chongqing.
Of course we would choose to stay here again the next time!

Friendly. They don't speak much English, but it is fine communicating over translate apps. The lady helped answer questions via wechat throughout my stay. Even messaged me to check I was ok when she hadn't seen me which I appreciated as a solo traveller

I thought September was the start of autumn so it'd be sunny but cooler, but it is so hot! Even though it is in walking distance to a few places like Shibati, Jiefangbei street, subway stations, those 15 minute walks are tough in the heat so either adjust the amount of days you stay to take into account for the fact you can't fit as much in after 5 pm, or travel at a different time of year haha
Location
The directions on even Chinese maps are awful so beware if you're coming in the hot months and are planning on walking from the nearest subway station. I didn't notice this, but they did message instructions over trip as well so check your messages

I think it is stairs only (there's not too many). There is a cat roaming about so note that if you're allergic - I only tend to react when I make contact with the hairs and I didn't react whilst I stayed here so it must be pretty clean (there's locks on the room doors so I guess the cat can't roam about too much)

Mattress pretty thin, but I have found most are like that in Chinese hostels. Comfy pillow and duvet. It would be nice if the curtains were a bit longer to fully block light/the occasional moth from coming underneath, but overall they do the job of maintaining privacy. Was upgraded from 6 bed to 4 bed, both look pretty similar but 4 bed is slightly further from bathroom so I guess less disturbance in the morning, plus it has a vanity area. A few steps down to the 6 bed area, there is a rack for hanging clothes and a balcony

The state-of-the-art IMAX Cinema within the hotel premises allowed me to enjoy the latest blockbuster films in stunning clarity and surround sound. It was like having a private cinema right at my fingertips. The comfortable seating and top-notch audio-visual quality made every movie viewing a memorable one.
But IMAX Cinema Hotel had even more to offer. The hotel also provided an exquisite selection of music, creating a wonderful ambiance throughout the property. Whether I was relaxing in my room or enjoying a drink at the stylish bar, the carefully curated playlist added an extra touch of sophistication to my stay.

LleqzGreat location with a walkable distance to center and somewhat close to metro station. I had a great view from the room towards south (river) and the room was overall decent. I thought there would be washing machine but apparently some rooms have it and some don’t, though it wasn’t an issue for me. The room has a fridge too to keep your drinks cold. 😁 Front desk is located in the fifth floor, they were polite and helpful when I wanted to store my luggage after my stay.
