Absolutely horrible stay. The room was changed 3 times. As a guest, was not aware that the hotels parking lot was being re- tarred. The 119 room was located right next to all of this. Between the smell flaring up my asthma and allergies and the noise, we had to try to find another room. The Girl was nice, I didn't catch her name. She showed me another option that was hopefully better. The hotel was still permeated with the smell. We hurriedly switched to 231. Because of the move, we were running late to our event. We dropped off stuff off and had to leave. When we arrived back later that night, I discovered the King mattress was completely shot, huge holes and lumps where the springs came through. It wasn't just one area. It wasn't possible to sleep on it. So called the front desk again, explained what happened. Said he was booked up and was trying to find another option to just sleep in for the night. Ours was booked prior from Thursday through Saturday. We didnt keep our stuff in the other room, definitely did not feel comfortable to do so. We moved again to 217 I believe. We ended up with 2 double beds. There was a issue with the beds and lamps vibrating all night long. I am not sure if there was a electrical room next to it. The TV didnt work, soneone came up and looked at it. Either way, very disappointing stay. Lack of sleep and more did not help. And did not get the type of room I specified. I was not able to check out early and leave. All other places were booked, or else I would have completed a early check out. Choice Hotels has my complaint on file too. Something needs to be done. I hope no one else goes through this.
