"We had a fantastic stay, and the breakfast buffet was truly a highlight—one of the most delicious meals we had on our entire trip down south! While the hotel may be a bit worn, it’s very comfortable, and the level of service more than makes up for it. The staff are exceptionally well-trained and go above and beyond with a welcoming and attentive attitude. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this hotel to all our friends."
"The hotel is very well-proportioned, both in the lobby for check-in and in the bedroom. I especially like the bedroom. The bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen are well-proportioned. The front desk staff are friendly and provide a simple breakfast. Everything is complete in one place."
"We went in January and there was a storm.
The road into the hotel is one lane, unable to pass, rather steep.
If there are cars going up or down, it's dangerous.
Parking space is very limited because it is at the foot of a mountain next to the sea.
The accommodation is beautiful. On the day I went, the air conditioner broke, but the staff changed the room. I was very lucky that there was a room available. The staff are very cute. Very helpful.
The number of rooms is not many. I like it. It's not crowded. The view is beautiful."

"Good location, nice pool and decent breakfast.
The breakfast staff was more interested in talking among themselves than taking care of guests and making sure serving plates had food. This is don't understand.
A small thing, for sure I'd return"
"Clean, spacious rooms, convenient parking. Located in the heart of the city, next to the sports stadium, worth the price. Next time I will definitely have to stay again."
"The rooms are in a dilapidated condition. For example, the room door didn't close completely. The bathroom door was loose and could be rocked back and forth. Breakfast was not impressive. Just stayed for the first time. and didn't ask to stay again Not worth the money spent"
"A small hotel located in a central location near the market. The room price is not very expensive, the service is good, plus inviting to have breakfast again, there is boiled rice, delicious, bread, tea and coffee, all of this is free. Suggest that you have to bring a lot of mosquito repellent with mosquitoes, but not id Phananara Chumphon Hotel."
"The hotel just nice. Very clean and very comfort. Need to call first if you arrived late night because the receptionist is not at the counter during night time. Overall is just nice, comfort, clean and safe to stay. Will back there if visited Chumphon. Thank you."
"New, clean room, located in the city center. The walls are very thin. Booked a standard room with a private bathroom. The staff informed us that this type of room is already full. They gave us a room with 3 people with a shared bathroom instead. The shared bathroom is separated for men and women. However, there was a man who came to use the women's bathroom at 2am. There was someone who came to drink and make noise in the common area for hours. It made us unable to sleep.
Overall, the room is new, clean, and the location is good. But if you get a shared bathroom, it's the worst."
"The price-performance ratio is super high, the room is very big, and it also comes with a small yard, separate parking space, bathroom with bathtub, free breakfast for two, and free swimming pool. It costs only more than 100 yuan per night, which is super! At that time, I was just driving on my way, and I didn't stay for a few more nights. Come again if I have a chance."

Very Good
DdanthetravellerLocated in the city center and offers a variety of breakfast options that we can feel free to choose. The staff were nice, the parking was decent and overall it was a good stay experience for all of us.
RRick DownerA little village of cute, brightly-painted and spotlessly clean bungalows at an amazing price, just a couple hundred yards from Sairee Beach and a short drive to all the other (and better) beaches of the Chumphon area. Note that it's a Thai-style resort, with a Thai-style bed (beyond firm), and there's no pool here, but a great stopover at an unbeatable price, with a Thai breakfast in the morning.
GGuest UserHotel is centrally placed in Chumphon with plenty of food establishments and several 7-11 in close proximity.
Hotel room was spotless and bed was semi soft. Staff spoke a smattering of English and was always understood. Very helpful too and the reception is manned 24 hours. Shower was excellent with hot water if needed. Nice big fridge for keeping all your snacks and drinks from 7-11.
Next to reception was a room with free coffee and a microwave for guest use. I stayed for 12 nights so had a good experience. Only negatives were
1). All tv channels in Thai and nearly all shopping channels.
2) Walls are thin but luckily for me it is off season so not many guests next to my room.
In my view it was well worth the money paid because of its location. They offer many services including shuttle to the airport for a small fee.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the railway station, making it super convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
Our room was spotless and came with air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the heat. If you need a hairdryer, you can easily request one at the front desk.
One of the highlights was the little kitchenette available in the mornings from 6 am to 11 am. We enjoyed a nice cappuccino there, and they also have a microwave and microwaveable food for purchase—perfect for anyone arriving late and needing a quick meal.
GGuest UserAs mentioned previously, the corridors in the hotel do look like prison cells. That said, when you enter the room, you are pleasantly surprised. The rooms have everything you require minus coffee making facilities.
Very good location with the train station and shopping mall within easy walking distance.
Very good local bar named De Rust with good food, music and reasonable priced beer also within walking distance. The bar is opposite the railway line and visible from the train when entering Chumphon from a southerly direction.
TTikky_meeThe room is spacious, clean, complete with amenities. The breakfast line has a lot to choose from: porridge, American breakfast, toast, fruit, Thai desserts. Plenty of parking.
AAnonymous UserThe room is compact and not very big. The location is good, close to the Krom Luang Chumporn Shrine as I found. The breakfast is not very diverse. The rice soup is delicious. Everyone has good service.
WWasinThe rooms are spacious, clean, and there are motorbikes for rent. There is food for sale at friendly prices.
Excellent service Especially the owner Please help recommend places to visit on the island.
There is a transfer service from the hotel to the pier.
Overall, very excellent.
คค้างคืนThe bathroom is not very clean, the room is good, a bit old. for sleeping Not noisy at night, there is free coffee on the 1st floor, the bathroom is spacious. There is a water heater. The air conditioner is cool.
