"We tested two days as a family to use our Wonderbox. A little mixed by the experience, I'll start with the positive, the setting is great, you can do everything on foot no need to use the car, functional apartment. On the other hand, it is very old, the insulation is outdated, we heard the neighbors' toilet flushing day and night, the chair at the table.... The bedding has had its day, the sofa bed in the living room squeaks so much that we had to put the mattress on the floor. Despite a recent renovation, the bathroom joints as well as the radiators are not up to standard, damaged windows.... Really average overall"

"If you have booked without bothering about budget accommodation, then expect a good deal by taking a room on the North Eastern side of this hotel. Great location with panoramic view of the port and Saint-Jean-de Luz. Since there is no restaurant near the hotel, taking a walk through the stairs to the waterfront area or driving to the city center is a good option to discover the surroundings. Very friendly hosts. The small reception desk is opened for a limited time to allow guests to check in. Some valuable information about the surroundings are on fliers near the reception and in each room there is a catalog with nearby restaurants filed with price categories."

"First impressions count, on arrival steep slope to rooms which is not mentioned. Outside area is tired. Room ok, great views however rooms are over priced can have a nice hotel on sea front Saint Jean De Luz for less money. We would not book again."
