3 rooms available in which we were in the lower part of a refurbished old barn. This was ideal on the ground floor with a small patio outside. A superb breakfast was available inside the main house with homemade jams and cake. Amélie made us feel very welcome as our host. The pool was ideal as we're the gardens and Tours and Villandry were not distant.

As the pictures suggest, this is indeed a fine mansion house a few miles out from Tours, but do not allow your hopes to rise that you might have full access to its facilities. Breakfast is served in a pretty corner of the mansion (the single-storey annexe to the right of the main building) but the accommodation itself is in a separate block (partly visible between the trees on the right of the picture). It comprises two quite roomy suites with WC and separate open plan shower room. Use of a refreshing pool (approximately 4 foot deep) and an outside terrace. Disability friendly.

Les Hauts de Grillmont was an utterly charming accommodation experience. Our host, Amille, was lovely, welcoming and helpful, while our accommodation a delightful example of rural French hospitality. Fabulous bed, great shower, and scrumptious country breakfast. This a Is a couples’ retreat we can’t recommend highly enough!!

Nous avons séjournés le temps d'une étape au Grillemont, et nous avons très bien été reçus. La chambre dans un bâtiment indépendant est magnifique, spacieuse, avec une déco sobre mais de bon goût. Les équipements sanitaires sont très bien aussi. Le petit déjeuner servi dans un élégant service de porcelaine et argent. Rien n'y manque. J'y suis aller pour la proximité avec les châteaux de la Loire. J'y retournerais pour le plaisir de sejourner aux Grillemont.

Trés bon accueil d'Amélie avec sa citronnade au bord de la piscine ,bonne planche copieuse et de qualité pour le diner.Idem pour le petit dejeuner. .Chambre spacieuse , trés confortable A recommander
