Rainbow trout has even been stocked in the lake. 39 km to the southeast of Joensuu, Lake Särkijärvi 5 m (10.75 km²), sandy beach that starts shallow and deepens 2 m from the shore; at the end of the pier, the depth is approximately 1.5 m.
