Gregans Castle Hotel

Our stay at Gregans Castle Hotel was simply magical. The setting was beautiful, as was our room. The food, the wine, the cocktails were all wonderful, but the most impressive aspect of the hotel was the friendliness of the staff and their customer service focus.

If you like a luxurious country house feel with beautifully coordinated furnishings and lots of interesting art. If you enjoy wide open views, friendly staff, herbaceous borders, cats and donkeys. If you prefer your food seasonal, sophisticated and local. Then you will love this hotel. If you are looking for lots going on, a to in your room, spa treatments and a nespresso machine, it might not be for you. We really liked it and we’d recommend going for a walk with Shane Connolly. If you want a night with music pop to the village pub.

Everything about Gregans Castle we found exceptional. The room , the grounds, the service and the food all top class . My partner Gitti is Vegetarian and they gave her a feast which she described as good as she ever had. Me being a carnivore I had a wonderful feast. The breakfast the next morning was of the same standard. The service everywhere we went in the hotel was so friendly. We are already discussing our return date to this wonderful location.

I recently spent a few days at Gregans Castle, and it completely exceeded my expectations. Tucked away in the heart of the Burren, it’s the kind of place that instantly puts you at ease. Peaceful, welcoming, and full of charm. The interiors are beautiful without feeling overdone. They’re tasteful, warm, and full of character, blending naturally with the stunning landscape outside. What really stood out to me was the service and the food. Both dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Every dish was fresh and locally sourced, clearly made with care and a lot of skill. The kitchen team is seriously impressive. I hadn’t heard of Gregans Castle before this trip, but it’s now one of my favorite places I’ve stayed in Ireland. A true hidden gem, and one I’m already looking forward to visiting again. Huge thanks to the whole team for such a memorable experience.

Amazing stay, really one of the best hotels we've stayed in. Just one night but loved it, great front of house service and gorgeous room. Ate at the restaurant and we're shocked that they don't have a Michelin star. Would absolutely recommend.

This place is incredible. It’s beautiful, warm and relaxing. It’s the perfect place to drink some tea and read a book next to a warm fire. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food and the restaurant are truly spectacular. We had the best time and will be back again in the future!
