What a lovely experience!! Johan and Tim, you guys are the best! The attention to detail was amazing! The breakfast was to die for!!! Patcham Place is a perfectly situated B&B. Close walking distance to the square and restaurants. Beautiful rooms, classy and refined. Breakfasts outstanding and served in the most beautiful dining area. The hosts are warm and inviting and the personal touches are evident throughout the property.

We stayed at Patcham Place for three nights. The room was quite beautiful with every attention to detail. The location was amazing with breathtaking views from the room of the mountain and a very short walk to the town centre with restaurants and shops. We had a fabulous breakfast every morning with a choice of personalised cooked options. But best of all was our host Tim who was so charming and welcoming.

This was by far the best trip my husband and I have had to Clarens — and we’ve visited multiple times! The accommodation was absolutely perfect. It was in the best location, allowing us to walk everywhere: to dinners, lunches, and even straight onto hiking trails. The view of the mountains from our place was simply breathtaking. The hosts truly thought of every little detail to make our stay special — we felt so comfortable, warm, and cosy the entire time. It’s clear that a lot of care and love has gone into creating this space. We can’t wait to come back!

Great breakaway for couples. Tim and Johan are great hosts, with immense attention to detail. Patcham Place is just off main square, making everything within walking distance but quiet and restful. Hosts knowledge of area is added advantage to ensure you make the most of your visit.

Johan and Tim provided a personalized experience that made the difference between our stay being just another weekend break and an awesome getaway from the stresses of life. Their can-do attitude and willingness to ensure we were well catered for was a welcome change. The view from the deck while eating breakfast is great and makes one feel like you are really far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

We revisited Patcham Place in March and this time we were spoiled with 3 nights in the pristine, stylish and picturesque Lilliput House. All I can say is that it was an absolute joy...please go and look for yourselves. Breakfast was abundant with no effort spared to make every little detail look scrumptious. Thank you, gracious hosts Tim and Johan, we'll definitely see you again!
