Super 8 by Wyndham Clayton

Hallway was dirty. Room appeared to be a little cleaner than hallway. Items in room were not in good working order. Dresser was being held together by tape, fire sprinkler was falling out of ceiling, only light in bedroom area had an old dirty pull cord.

We’re traveling from Colorado to Oklahoma. Decided to try super 8. We had a good nights rest. Beds are clean and comfortable and it’s quiet. The shower curtain needs so help and the bathroom corners could be cleaned better. All in all, we had a good stay. Pet friendly and a place out back to walk your dog

Dirty bathtub, long hair, dirty wall, mold. Not a pleasant sight to make me want to take a shower. Bad bad bad bad bad badddd

We stayed here August 7th., 2026. We have stayed here quite a few times with no problems Last night the desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Stayed in room 110. Room was clean and appeared nice as usual. But I was attacked during the night by bed bugs!!! Never in my life has this happened to me! My husband had no problem but I have a lot of bites and itchy helps that I didn’t have until staying there. Hotel needs updating and some repairs but the bed bugs need to be taken care of. We have enjoyed staying here over the years but can't return until this issue is corrected

It’s right off the highway and you can hear heavy traffic unless you get a room in the back. The floors were filthy. The carpet has not been vacuumed in the hallways for a while. Leach stained on carpet. There were Froot Loops on the stairs from breakfast and we checked in at 6pm. It looks like they’ve been there for a while. Don’t walk barefooted on the floors in the room. We had to keep our shoes by the bed to walk across the floor to go to the bathroom. No elevator… be prepared to drag your suitcase up steep stairs to get to the second floor. There was water running in the bathtub nonstop and the tub was dirty. There was no smoke alarm. The windowsills had dead bugs. For $10 more a night we could’ve stayed at a better hotel. This is at best a $59 a night hotel room. We paid $129. Definitely not worth it. The only positive thing I have to say is that the beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean.

Could use a lot TLC but in saying that the mattress was amazing along with the staff. Quiet location and great for an last minute overnight stay while traveling.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. The sheets were clean but thread worn. Direct tv was having issues. I would recommend this as a place to stay in a need to get a night's rest then head out to your next destination.

This motel was okay for a one night stop along the road from Dallas to Denver. The lady at the front desk was really nice. The motel itself is adequate. All of the motels in Clayton are surprisingly expensive for what they are. But, we needed a pet friendly place to stay. The 87 Restaurant down the road is a fun place to have dinner. It too, is dog friendly.

I waited for the clerk to come and check me in. While waiting there was the smell of spaghetti o’s in the area and a dead bug at my feet. The Wi-Fi quit working after an hour and was never fixed while I was there. There was no coffee at breakfast nor was there an attendant. The door saying manager behind the front desk was closed. No one responded to my calls. The only coffee in the room was decaf. The coffeemaker was unusable due to how it was set up.
