Our family was thrilled to be able to spend Thanksgiving with Timberline. However I made a horrible mistake and booked the campsite a week ahead of time. The owner contacted me on the 2nd night wanting to know if we were still planning to come and to make sure everything wqs ok. I was so embarassed and heart broken b/c I knew they had a very strict cancelation policy. The only thing they offered to do was a gift card for $130 that had to be used w/in a week. As a family we were devastated by my mistake and could not justify investing $700 to rebook for a few nights. they were unwilling to meet us in the middle. We will dispute the pet fee with the credit card company however we are out a lot of money and bummed to now have no Thanksgiving plans. Triple check your reservation and realize there is not much grace for mistakes. I miss the days when privately owned companies looked out for their customers. I feel Robbed.

Tent is very cute & comfy. Bunks are more comfortable than the king bed. Heat was nice too! Had to drive to the bath house, which had no lights at night. Check-in is at 4 PM. They won’t let you check in even 10 minutes early and it’s a 10 minute drive from the office where you check in. It gets dark at 4:50 PM. The closest town and restaurants are a half hour drive away. The tent would be challenging to find in the dark for the first time. They only have two lamps inside and it’s pretty dark in there. Cozy and comfy, but it’s hard to see your stuff. I would highly recommend bringing your own food to grill, but keep in mind there is no running water in the tent. Also, bring your own trash bags, towels, soap, & shampoo, Something else to keep in mind is that there are no locks on the tents, only zippers.

We absolutely loved Cheaha Glamping! We stayed at site 10 and had our own cute little private space beside a wooded area. The set up was even better than expected, it was so comfy and homey, yet we still got that 'camping feeling'. Mission accomplished Timberline Glamping, it was a great experience and I am proudly telling everyone how they need this experience if they want a best of both worlds (comfort/camping) get-a-way. The only reason I did not give this a perfect 5 star review, is I only wish you could provide better pictures of each campsite, so the visitor could select the exact perfect lot (where the trees are located, where the fire pit is located, picnic table, etc etc). For future glampers, site 10 and/or site 40 would be my first choices for the upper campground (lots of privacy). Thanks Timberline Glamping. I will surely stay with you at Cheaha again.

I take my kids to the lake at Cheaha and we saw the glamping tents. Planned my daughter’s birthday there for her and a few friends. They loved it! It was easy for us because of the lake for swimming and everyone ate outside, and I didn’t have to clean the house ha. We brought our own cake but the owner offered to let us buy from her and have it delivered to the tent. We did order the gourmet cookies - they were there when we arrived and decorated exactly as my daughter wanted, and we had them decorate with garland outside. Was really nice not having to do it all myself, and we might do it again for my sons birthday.

Worked with Aimee to plan our trip - so glad we did. She helped usbchooose the best tent to stay in, and we had a birthday there so she helped us order special cookies and decorated the tent for it. We had a great time. There was plenty of room too which kinda surprised me - they’re huge.

With a stay at Timberline Glamping Cheaha in Delta, you'll be in a state park, just steps from Talladega National Forest and a 2-minute drive from Cheaha Resort State Park. This lodge is 2.9 mi (4.6 km) from Cheaha Lake and 16.3 mi (26.2 km) from Choccolocco Park.

This lodge features designated smoking areas and hiking/biking trails on site.

The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.

Make yourself at home in one of the 8 individually decorated guestrooms. Bathrooms with showers are provided. Conveniences include coffee/tea makers and ceiling fans, and you can also request rollaway/extra beds (surcharge).
