What a pleasant and wonderful bed & breakfast. It is located in a quiet and peaceful area. Debra greeted us warmly and gave us a tour of all the common areas and our room. The pool and patio area are perfect for a sunny summer morning whether in the pool or just lounging poolside. Our stay was too short, we are planning to return another time. Manny & Joyce Garza

This place is such a gem! I stumbled on it almost accidentally looking for a place to crash at a midway place on my trip. The grounds are gorgeous--and quiet and so peaceful. The room was clean, large and bright. The breakfast was hearty. And best of all, the host and hostess are wonderful people. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get off the beaten path and rest deeply in the beauty of creation. Matt Woodley

The rooms are awesome. Deb makes a mean breakfast. They are very accommodating. It’s like going to visit family. It’s very peaceful. I have met several people during my stays that I still run into when I am there. You will love the place and the people.

Can across Shane Acres Country Inn via internet search of places to stay in the area. Although we were only able to stay one night, the amenities here are extraordinary. The friendliness of the owners created a very relaxed environment. If our travels ever bring us back to the Juneau area, we would definitely stay at Shane Acres again.

Shane Acres Country Inn was a sight for sore eyes for my sister and me after a 5-hour drive in the chilly spring rain. What beautiful surroundings! We were in the aptly named Tranquility Room which had an electric fireplace which we turned on immediately. The luxurious suite was about the size of my Boston apartment. It was great for my handicapped sister who could park nearby and had only a few steps to access the suite. The king-size bed was unusually comfortable. The breakfast of French toast, egg dish, banana bread, strawberries and orange juice was delicious and the view from the dining area was heavenly. Being with Jackie was like visiting an old friend, We only wished we could have stayed longer but look forward to visiting again.
