This is a decent hotel except for a couple of major issues.
We booked a hotel with a pool. Unfortunately, the pool was too cold to spend anytime in. I never got in beyond my ankles.
Then and this is by far the biggest issue. The hotel must be surrounded by mosques, because once the call to prayer starts in the early hours, you will not be able to sleep through it. It sounds like you have 4 or 5 mosques all doing the call to prayer in your room.
Add to that, one of the evenings it seemed that some individual was also booming out his reciting of some religious tomes, it was the most repetitive dirge, far from the beauty of the call to prayer and it went on for about an hour.
I understand it’s a Muslim nation, but this was rather not conducive to a decent nights sleep.

Quite simply the best hotel we've stayed at in Indonesia.
The manager, Shanti, and her team, especially Dena and Azma, are lovely.
The hotel is very clean.
The food is excellent.
The rooms are very comfortable with a nice big TV.
The hot water is a treat after climbing the volcanoes.
I recommend this establishment 1000%.
