...find somewhere else, drive all night, sleep in your car, just please do not stay here. There appears to be only men working here who seem to have no interest in basic cleanliness or maintenance. I know it's meant to be rustic, but it's waaaay beyond rustic. It is one of the dirtiest rooms I have ever stayed in, including stays in Africa, Central America, and Asia. Dirty, stained carpets, stained ceilings, holes in the ceilings (ladies, you'd better plug those up!), filthy sink, stained bathroom fixtures and shower curtain, a bar of soap left from the last guest in the shower, poorly patched holes in the wall, lots of scuff marks and damage. Crazy noisy plumbing. On the positive side, there was a tiny shampoo and bars of soap. I saw no evidence of bed bugs (believe me, I checked thoroughly), and the sheets smelled like bleach. I do not know if blankets and bedspread were washed between guests. There was no tissue or drinking cups, and we did not drink the water (they are on a well) because we did not have any faith that it was safe. There was a microwave in the room. I did not feel safe in this place at all. I would never recommend this to a woman travelling alone. I could hardly wait to leave. The restaurant was out of business. The whole place was junky. I do not know why these people are running a hotel.
