I really wanted to enjoy my stay more, but there were several concerning issues. One of the most noticeable was overall cleanliness and the number of dirty dishes left in the hallways, which remained there from one day to the next without being cleared. Additionally, we were abruptly woken up at 8 AM when housekeeping opened our door. They may have knocked, but since we were asleep, we didn’t hear it. When we mentioned our concern about them entering without a response, we were scolded for not having a privacy tag on the door. In all my years of staying at hotels, I’ve never experienced housekeeping entering so early in the morning—especially without waiting for a clear response. It was even more frustrating to hear them doing the same thing to other guests down the hall after we stopped them. Beyond that, cleanliness and maintenance were also issues. We found leftover food in the refrigerator from the previous guest, which made me question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. Adding to that, the sink had no hot water, and the toilet had extremely low pressure, making it difficult to flush properly. Overall, this was not my best experience at a Marriott. I expected a higher standard of cleanliness and service, and unfortunately, this stay fell short.
