Location gets higher marks because it was 10 minutes away from where I was going.
"Breakfast" consisted of some prepackaged small muffins; coffee was okay. Wasn't expecting a full sit down eggs/bacon, but I think a few Hostess muffins hardly constitutes "Breakfast".
My main issue was the the Express Check-in. I did the whole pre-check in online to save time and avoid a whole lot of hassle as I was on a tight timeline before I was out the door to where I needed to be. Got confirmation that the pre-check in was completed. However, when I arrived the desk clerk gave me a check-in list to complete, even though it was already done. I informed her that I had already done this, and showed her the confirmation but evidently she didn't know where to look to find this information. So I wasted 10-15 minutes filling out the paperwork...AGAIN, and then waited for her to process my credit card, enter all the information in her computer, etc. I then made a mad dash to my room, had to change into another set of clothes, and then right back out the door to get to where I needed to be. What's the use of having Express Check-in if the staff don't know where to find it, or can't be bothered to look for it?
It was a one night stay...thankfully, and nothing to give high marks about, especially the "breakfast included" which left a bad taste. But I do suggest the staff be thoroughly trained in all aspects of the check-in process, especially Express Check-in.
