La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Colorado Springs Garden of the Gods

If I could I would give this motel a -1000, it was horrible, like a rent by the hour motel you see on these true crime stories.

Good Breakfast, Friendly clean pet friendly easy to find lots of fast food around and convenience stores around there the only thing was the swimming pool wasn't opened and it was so hot outside

How this place keeps it's Wyndham La Quinta franchise is beyond me. This place is a travesty. The day we checked in the elevator was broken to the 2nd floor and climbing stairs was very difficult dealing with altitude sickness and carrying luggage. We had booked 5 rooms, all paid in advance with Wyndham points (husband works for Wyndham 30 years now) and 2 of our family members (2 rooms) decided right off to stay elsewhere, I was so embarrassed as we had provided the rooms as a gift during a family wedding. Our family are very easy going and normally just ok, is ok, especially when you are exhausted from travel but this place was disgusting, it was almost laughable. From the crumbling foundation for many stairways to the TRASH EVERYWHERE! Just everywhere you looked there was garbage, the walkways, the stairs, the parking lot. The rooms stank. One of my family members left because of this. It was VERY overpowering. There was hair all over our sheets. We slept on our own blankets we brought. BUT THE MOST infuriating is charges that showed up on our credit card (again, everything was paid with points ahead of time). After 2 weeks of calls the manager just lies and says charges have been reversed. They have not. We are reporting this La Quinta to corporate office. Just do yourself A FAVOR and say absolutely anywhere else.

When my group chose this hotel, I wasn't expecting the royal treatment, but my experiences at La Quintas were always pleasant, so I went along with the choice. At first glance the hotel looked decent, but things quickly added up to completely make my stay unsatisfying. From the disgusting litter in the parking lot to the mold and mildew in the bathroom to being overcharged for the number of days that I stayed. It was unlike any La Quinta that I've stayed at. I can't say it's the worst hotel I've stayed in, but it is a competitor for it.

Worse place to stay if you are handicapped. Elevator outside in the rain. Too many stairs. Old rooms cheaply repainted with the cheapest appliances. Bathroom shower mat dirty and doors on outside not safe! Police in the lobby in the morning.

There is a pool, but it is closed. Limited lighting and trash in parking lot. Bathroom smaller than they appear in the online pictures. Room is okay (no bugs but dark and damp) Internet was satisfactory Water pressure and water temperature was satisfactory A/C unit worked You definitely want to make sure that you arrive to your hotel before dark. This hotel will take anyone that is able to pay for a room.
