Hi I'm Johnny.this is actually my first ever review! my wife made me do it haha.. Me and my wife Lisa stayed here for 3 nights. They have so many things for you. Not only do they have a very clean Lobby and rooms, but an awesome gym!. They are located right in the middle of all sorts of shopping plazas. So you don't have to be stuck inside lol. Very friendly place. They bring you things if you need. I actually accidentally lost my car keys and was kind of upset the whole day especially with my wife getting on my case But a young lady we bumped into on the elevators from housekeeping Tall Short curly Blonde hair very beautiful , think her name was Nekisha brightened OUR day, and BEHOLD!!!! we found the keys in our suitcase moments after . Such an angel. Now my wife wants to cut her hair 😂 Hopefully we make it back in the U.S SOON Home2 is where we will be thank you very much -JOHN&LISA heading to Canada

Disappointing stay at Home2 Suites Columbus, GA. Room was dirty (hair & dirt in shower; toe nails on the floor) reserved room type was changed without notice, and breakfast ran out early. Even with a partial discount, it wasn’t worth it. It gives motel vibes. Only stayed because I was with a large group.

This hotel used to be one of our "go to" hotels in Columbus when visiting family. But it has really gone downhill. Giving the benefit of the doubt with two stars based on previous visits when it was very good. I am hoping this is just a temporary situation that will be corrected soon. The rooms are spacious (as expected at Home2 Suites) and the beds are comfortable. The good-sized refrigerator, separate freezer, and real dishes, silverware, etc. are the reasons we seek out this brand for road trips. But we were very disappointed on this visit. The hotel seems to be suffering from lack of maintenance and the staff were often just "not there". Our bathroom pocket door wouldn't stay open when you wanted to try to keep the mirror from fogging up. One corner wall in the bathroom was rusted where the drywall was broken off and it needed touchup paint and caulk in several areas. Our room wasn't supplied with hand soap at all and we ran out of shower gel our second morning. They didn't have any laundry soap for purchase so I had to do some hand laundry using one of our two bath towels to wring it out. I couldn't even get one replacement towel the next morning because they had run out. They were always running out of coffee at breakfast. One morning they ran out of eggs at least 15 minutes before the breakfast hours were over but wouldn't put out any more. When we tried to get help at the front desk there was often no one there even after waiting for several minutes. At check-in, there was only one luggage cart with a wobbly wheel that wouldn't roll straight. When we checked out, there were no luggage carts at all. Separately, these would be small problems that we might overlook. But so many of them add up to a big red flag that this hotel is not being managed well. We'll avoid in the future.

We were greeted by a sweet women named Mercedes and she was very nice and helpful and it was late and she was very nice which made our long trip feel much better after talking with her! The only thing we didn’t like much was breakfast. I would have hoped for fruit and juice for options for a healthier way to start but the waffles were good!

Hotel is always a nice place to stay. Clean lobby, good breakfast options, friendly staff and clean rooms.
