Bryn Coed Guest House

The room was small, cold and not clean. There were bits on the floor, used tissue on floor by bed, cobwebs hanging off the ceiling. The bathroom was not clei. Sink had what looked like tea stains, toilet needed a good descale and bleach. I didn't sleep in the bed as didn't want to look at the sheets as the duvet was marked. Not matching pillow cases. The pillows were old and flat. The dust on mirror and picture frames had been there a long time. I'm allergic to dust and I spent most of the night sneezing. No milk in room to have a cup of tea. The shower was in need of a re grout as some missing and also had mould growing. On the positive side the host was very pleasant and and breakfast was ok but I only had cereal and toast. I did manage to get milk with my tea. Would definitely not stay there again. £70 per night was definitely way too much.

Comfortable room with onsuite facilities. I slept well.

Lovely hosts, Lovely stay. Was greeted warmly by the hostess on arrival, she even offered to carry my bag up to my room! (I declined the kind offer!) The room was compact and en'suite with a sparkling bathroom, the shower was great with plenty of water pressure. The bed was a little uncomfortable but I was able to adjust it to my liking, when I mentioned this the hosts were very concerned and said they would give the bed a check out after I left. Breakfasts (I was there 2 nights) were lovely, fresh and well cooked. Nothing seemed to much trouble for the hosts and I was made to feel very welcome. I shall return.
