Our time spent amongst the amazing orange groves, surrounded by the beautiful scent of orange blossoms, added an extra layer of magic to our experience. We have stayed in one of the studios for 12 nights, and loved every minute of it. The room, while suitable for a small family, has a comfortable size for two persons. We have used the kitchenette to our satisfaction several times, although it is obviously not a full kitchen. Out studio was on the east side; so morning sun on the private terrace, but not in the afternoon. The facilities and the location are very beautiful; expect a large orange orchard all around you. The pool has a decent size and there are several sun beds around it. The nearest beach time is walking distance. The service we received was near to perfect: from the reception to the kitchen, and even the cleaning persons, everybody was kind and personal. After one day they knew our special requests for the breakfast, and offered it every next day without us having to ask. Any drink or small meal we ordered could be served to our room/terrace, the general area, or to their roof terrace. They also had good recommendations where to eat, and which beach to go to. Some points to consider: there is a train track with a few trains every day (I estimate every hour). It starts around 7 am though. It didn't bother us, but I guess it is more noticeable in one of the 'sea facing' rooms. There is also a main road nearby, and depending on the hour of the day and the direction of the wind, the sound of the cars is more or less noticeable. Neither of this would stop us from booking again though.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Quinta Dos Perfumes—just the tonic we needed. The countryside setting is peaceful and idyllic, surrounded by beautiful orange groves, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday. The hotel is ideally located, only a 20-minute walk or 10-minute bike ride from Cabanas, where you can find a selection of great restaurants, a fantastic beach on the island, and easy access to Tavira. It’s also only a 20-minute walk to Conceição train station if you wish to visit other areas further afield without hiring a car. The local Ubers are very reasonable and reliable too. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff and the delicious homemade cakes. The reception team and the cleaners were all so friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Sergio, Elizabete, and Anna—you truly made our stay memorable! We’d also like to thank the adorable French bulldog, Diogo. He was such a delightful part of the experience, and we loved giving him extra pats and tummy rubs. The rooms are lovely, with crisp white bed linen and minimalist Scandi-style décor with light oak furniture and fittings. Large sliding windows allow an abundance of natural light and a seamless connection with the outdoors, providing picturesque views of the surrounding orange groves. Altogether, the room’s design reflects a soothing and peaceful ambiance, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring or chilling out on one of the wonderful daybeds or by the pool. The sun terrace has stunning views and is a special place to watch the sun go down. Breakfasts were a daily treat, with the addition of delicious freshly baked cakes (we had a different flavor every day, and we were there for 12 days!). There was a great selection of options to start the day. We highly recommend Quinta Dos Perfumes for those looking for a peaceful retreat with excellent service and charming surroundings. We’ll definitely be back!

From check in to check the place is absolutely beautiful. The staff as willing to help. The breakfast on the morning is to die for. If you’re there to party. Not the place to be if you’re there to relax. 100% the place to be. We will definitely be back if we ever return to Portugal.

A beautiful property with friendly, attentive staff/service. This was truly a relaxing stay. We were able to unplug and fully relax...such a peaceful welcoming environment. The accommodations were very comfortable with all the modern upgrades. It was difficult to leave the property each day. The hotel offered a wonderful breakfast, bikes to visit the local town and a great pool area. Cabanas beach was just a short boat ride from the local town. Truly beautiful and not overcrowded. The local town, just a short bike ride from the property, also provided many wonderful restaurants and bars. We visited nearby Tavira and Ihla de Tavira..a must do! Will definitely stay here again.

We arrived late & were met by Sergio who showed around the beautiful hotel. All the staff; Sergio, Anna & Elizabeth were lovely, friendly & were happy to answer all our questions. They recommended restaurants & showed us how to get there & where to park. The location of the hotel was about 20 minutes walk to the beach or a 10 minute bike ride which they had on site. The breakfast was excellent. Good selection of cereals, fresh juices, cheese, meats, fresh cake everyday, cooked food & fruits. The accommodation was fabulous. We had a studio near the pool which never got busy or noisy. The studio had a kitchen area & a nice covered outdoor seating area. The hotel is in a citrus & the drive down the to the parking area was lined with beautiful trees full of oranges. We were booked for 4 nights & ended up extending our stay. We enjoyed our stay & will be going back.
