Quinta Dos Perfumes

We have stayed in one of the studios for 12 nights, and loved every minute of it. The room, while suitable for a small family, has a comfortable size for two persons. We have used the kitchenette to our satisfaction several times, although it is obviously not a full kitchen. Out studio was on the east side; so morning sun on the private terrace, but not in the afternoon. The facilities and the location are very beautiful; expect a large orange orchard all around you. The pool has a decent size and there are several sun beds around it. The nearest beach time is walking distance. The service we received was near to perfect: from the reception to the kitchen, and even the cleaning persons, everybody was kind and personal. After one day they knew our special requests for the breakfast, and offered it every next day without us having to ask. Any drink or small meal we ordered could be served to our room/terrace, the general area, or to their roof terrace. They also had good recommendations where to eat, and which beach to go to. Some points to consider: there is a train track with a few trains every day (I estimate every hour). It starts around 7 am though. It didn't bother us, but I guess it is more noticeable in one of the 'sea facing' rooms. There is also a main road nearby, and depending on the hour of the day and the direction of the wind, the sound of the cars is more or less noticeable. Neither of this would stop us from booking again though.

Opnieuw was ons verblijf in Quinta dos Perfumes heerlijk. Uitstekende kamer, zeer goed ontbijt en buitengewoon vriendelijke, gastvrije en behulpzame medewerkers. Dat alles op een grote sinaasappelboomgaard met diverse plaatsen om rustig te kunnen zitten en een zwembad. In de omgeving leuke dorpjes met veel restaurants, de zee en wandelmogelijkheden. Quinta dos Perfumes is voor ons een luxe en uitstekende uitvalsbasis om deze regio te verkennen.

Lovely hotel. Very relaxing
