If you want a nightmare experience, stay at this hotel. The rooms are old, with pipes and air ducts running directly over your head, making a deafening noise that will keep you from ever sleeping. The staff is rude, doesn’t speak English, and will yell at you in Romanian. The breakfast is terrible, with stale, expired food that completely disregards hygiene standards. Cereals and jams are stored in drawers without any airtight sealing. Expired mayonnaise and jams were served, and we even found a stapler pin in the food. Despite having arranged a late check-out at 3:00 PM, the owner denied everything, and when we returned, we found our luggage thrown out of the room onto a landing where anyone could have taken our belongings. Our clothes were stuffed into suitcases haphazardly, and we weren’t even allowed to enter the room to check if anything was missing. Horrible experience—go anywhere else but this hotel!

IL PEGGIOR HOTEL DELLA CITTÀ. Staff maleducatissimo, ci hanno trattati malissimo, lasciando le nostre valigie incustodite al di fuori delle stanze vicino alle scale. Dopo avergli spiegato della legge sulla privacy, non rispondono, si girano e iniziano a parlare la loro lingua. Per non parlare di un uomo scorbutico che sorvegliava l’hotel: ci ha trovati in un piano e ci ha iniziato ad urlare contro in rumeno ovviamente. A sua detta, da quello che abbiamo capito, ci urlava per il fatto di aver rotto l’ascensore, lo stesso mezzo che ha usato per venire nel nostro piano e lo stesso mezzo con il quale si diverte moltissimo. Colazione veramente ristretta, cornetti vecchi, oltre ai cornetti solo cereali e bacon. Durante la cena non si può avere più di una bottiglietta d’acqua. Detto questo lascio a voi la decisione, che io sconsiglio molto. Non ci tornerò mai più di sicuro.

The hotel is within walking distance from all major attractions in Constanta, but quite far from the beach. The train station is a short cab ride away, and there are plenty restaurants nearby. I would say the hotel is in a very good location. However, this is not a 4 star hotel. The rooms are pretty dated, the shower was full of mold, the TV did not work great. The breakfast room has a nice coffee machine, good view, and very friendly staff. The breakfast choices are ok, but not great. The worst part is the restaurant next to the hotel. You will get no sleep if the restaurant hosts a big event.

Located next door to the Naval Museum with a fantastic view out over the port from the breakfast terrace. The room was dated but clean, which is the main thing. Friendly, helpful staff and only a few minutes walk from all the sights in the old city square, and the marina/beaches.
