Points to know 1) it is an hour from the airport 2) they clearly do not get many non Spanish speakers ( not necessarily an issue!) 3) only breakfast is included and when we visited there was nothing open nearby. When we checked in I was asked for 600 sol on my credit card but did not receive a good explanation of what this was for and so opted to pay per transaction, this clearly was not liked and so the next day I placed 300 sol on the card, not sure why the huge discount. We then ordered the evening meal and gave room number a few times, then left. We were followed to the room and ordered to sign a document, in Spanish with no explanation. I am guessing this is to say we ordered the food, any other hotel we have stayed in you just give the room number and settle when you check out, we were made to feel that we were criminals and ate food without paying. A sheet to give to English travellers explaining all the processes would be a good idea. The only way to contact the reception with an issue is via the whatsapp.. our first night a light flashed every 10 seconds which disrupted our sleep, reported this at 7 am on Whatsapp, returned to the room at 3 pm and the issue was still there! went to reception and it was resolved within 10 minutes, and we received a fruit basket as way of apology. There are no vegetarian options at the restaurant for the lunch and evening meals, and the English translation of the meals leaves a lot to be desired and bewilderment, mixed ironing anyone ? Having said all of this, the hotel was very quiet ( off season) and we virtually had it to ourselves, it was clean, spacious and needed after a 2 week tour of Peru. Staff who stood out Patrick and Nahomy at reception who tried to help.
