Rustic ski chalet in the heart of North Conway off West Side Road

Eight of us were in N Conway for a family wedding. It was a very busy weekend in N Conway and was very nice to get away from the crowds and traffic. The house is well set up and equipped and in a quiet neighborhood. Communication with the host was great. Very prompt responses.

It was perfect for our group. We were a group of mountain bikers ranging in age from 30 to 50. Everything was as explained in the listing. The house was perfect for us. It had lots of room to spread out and plenty of parking. Our group came in from all parts of the country so we had many vehicles.

I don't believe "rustic" is a good description for this property. The outdoors is very unkempt - and overgrown. This is not a place I would let children play outdoors - very little space. I think there are other rentals in the area because some of the neighborhood yards looked the same as this - not very inviting. Lots of ticks due to overgrown grass, bushes, etc. We had a hard time locating the towels - and there is not much provided in the way of incidentals. There was no hand soap in the bathrooms. Lots of broken things - lights with non-working bulbs, etc. A HUGE tv that took up lots of space and made the living room hard to maneuver in. Kitchen was lacking. This is not a good place for families with small children. We never got the code to the lock texted or emailed to us - I had to text then call the host. He thought we were coming the next day. He was very nice and got things straightened out soon after 4:00. We did text about not finding any towels and were told to keep looking. We found a few - fortunately, we brought our own towels "just in case." No salt, no pepper, no coffee and even though it had probably been cleaned recently, the inside matched the outside - didn't feel very clean. This is a good for a place to lay your head, but it could use a good cleaning (scrubbing), the yard could use some mowing and trimming, and lots of small things inside the house need repair.

This was my first Verbo experience and it didn’t disappoint. The description matched the home and it was exactly what I was hoping for. I’m from NH and moved to FL several years ago. I’ve missed all that NH has to offer. My family and I had an amazing time!!

Great Stay The house was great. Clean, plenty of room and affordable. The Pool Table was a lot of fun too! Glenn (the owner) was very responsive and generous....I really appreciated him. The location was great too...good neighborhood and close to downtown. Would definitely stay there again.
