Imperial Hotel Coonabarabran

This place is just a typical old style pub type accomodation on the busy north south Newell Highway. The accomodation is quite old fashioned but clean and relatively comfortable. The rooms and shared bathrooms are from another era. Good food and service is available in the bar downstairs. This place served the purpose of breaking the long car trip northward. The only real inconvenience was their inability to recognise that we had prepaid the the accomodation and asked us to pay again. An email to Trip.com resolved the problem and we were issued a cash refund during the night.

Fairly basic accommodation but well priced

The pub was okay, food was good. Easy to find. No hot water for the shower.

Great atmosphere and meals. We were there on a very busy night and we didnt have to wait too long for our meals. Well heated in the Winter with a lovely fire in the bar which you can sit around. Staff are friendly, beer is fresh. If you are looking for somewhere in Coonabarabran to eat this is the place to go.

Drink prices great $7 schooner can get take aways. Good nightly food specials. Young friendly staff, Venue location in middle of town opposite Clock Tower. Large dining area. Didn't wait long for meals. Crumbed lamb cutlets very good. Lots of choice for take away drinks at fair prices.
