I am on a a business trip. The place was booked by my client. It’s so difficult to even sleep the night. The bathroom has hair everywhere. Dirty bedsheet, with stains. Lipstick marks on the pillow. Used hair pin with stuck hair on the table. Mosquito’s.. dirty carpets . Damp smell. The towels look very old, if bedsheets are dirty god knows if the towels look very were washed properly or not

Beautiful property with one of the finest views of the Nilgiris and Coonoor. If you’re up for experiencing some of the old world charm and a laidback vacation this is the place. The owner is friendly and the hotel staff tries hard to please. So all in all a good experience. There are two restaurants and both serve surprisingly good food.

Staff here is local gundas...this fellow shekhar intentionally parked his damaged bike next to my car...then asked money for the damages claiming it was done by my driver..along with watchman trying to be physical with my driver and said we will not let you got until you pay ..we were with family but they started abusing the driver... service here is slow ..only 3 people running the restaurant.... horrible experience

I have been to the place for luch earlier too but thios time we were a froup of 7 couples and 8 Children . The staff was on their toes and we were served fresh piping hot food . The food was really amazing and the kids too got all they wanted matched to the age groups tase buds . Must an amzing place to dine .If you dont visit 180 Mclver when in nilgiris the trip is not complete !!!!!!!!!! Keep the good job guys ..

Pathetic Restaurant Service with a clueless and rudderless staff. We arrived at the restaurant at 1.40 pm after confirming the availability 10 mins prior to arriving. We were first given a table, then asked to move because it was apparently reserved and was then informed that actually it was reserved for us. They then made us wait for 20 mins only to tell us that food can’t be served since their staff have gone for prayers!! I don’t even know how to interpret this experience. Why could they not tell this to us over the phone, or when we arrived, or during the 20-30 mins that we spent in the restaurant. Also, each conversation with one member of the staff was an exercise in anger control! We promptly left angry, hungry and dismayed with utter stupidity of it all!

We went on 21st Oct for brunch. Though place is good and have great view of the city.. but restaurant sucks.. service is like nit worthy any rating tbh dhaba would have better service by their captain/servers. No smile..no welcoming gesture.. forgot to serve water.. not a great place for food..just go take snaps and walk back

Iam so glad i chanced upon this beauty of a place in Coonoor while putting together a family trip. Nancy,at the reception was so sweet and helpful while making the reservations ,didn't sound like other hotels with the professional take it right now or its gone attitude.And she held the room for us ,as i needed time to coordinate with other family members. The hotel is so beautiful, the pictures don't do justice,very well maintained by Nancy,her husband John (hope i got that right) and team. Food and hospitality was awesome! So delightful to stay in a family run place than a chain. Also, its the same place where the movie Kapoor and sons was shot. Next time im going to book in advance and get the valley facing suite rooms.

We went to 180 Mciver for lunch on 14th September as it was recommended by someone. The person at the gate of the property told us that there is no lunch. We asked for tea/coffee which was again refused. We asked for timings for the next day for which we were informed that we can come for lunch from 1 pm to 4 pm. As we went there the next day, we were again refused and told that the kitchen is not open. Upon confronting that we confirmed for the same beforehand, we were told that it is a holiday and the staff is not there. PATHETIC ATTITUDE OF THE STAFF. ABSOLUTELY NO COURTESY. Would not recommend to anyone.

Stayed at this property for 02 nights in June for the 3rd time. A well located property with very friendly staff. Ms Nancy and Mr Philip Samuel are very friendly and helpful. Food, service, location, sleep quality all are good however the lighting in the room is very poor. The same has been highlighted by me in my previous review but the lighting continues to be very poor. Over all a quiet place to stay and one must experience the property.
