Barceló Corralejo Bay - Adults Only

Stayed at The Barcelo Corralejo Bay with my wife for 7 nights in August 2025. THE GOOD Without exception, all members of staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Maintenance issues (the air conditioning unit in our room kept leaking) were dealt with quickly. The hotel was peaceful and relaxing. The quality and range of choice of food in the restaurant was very good and probably exceeded our expectations. The spa was very good and reasonably priced. The hotel is conveniently located for access to both the town centre and the beach. THE BAD We were surprised to find on arrival that there was no concierge service, so had to deal with our own suitcases and find our own way to our room. Also surprised to be charged €3 per day to use the safe in our room - not experienced this in many hotels for a long time. A bit stunned to be asked to pay a deposit of €20 per towel for pool towels. Also the acquisition an ultimate return of the towels was extremely bureaucratic and worse still it appeared that we were only allowed to change the towels for fresh ones every 3 DAYS! The sunbeds were rather basic and frankly downright uncomfortable. Coffee served in the restaurant (from a machine) wasn't at all good. Had to switch to tea which was OK. The hotel is surrounded by residential properties, so although we were able to get a limited view of the sea in the distance, all we could really see from our room were residential properties. This was our first stay in a Barcelo hotel and overall we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and standards. Based on our experience we would have no hesitation in staying in a Barcelo hotel in the future. .

Loved the hotel ,room spacious & clean ,food hot ,plenty of choice .Entertainment very good .Bar staff are a little slow tho . We did enjoy our stay . The only snag is that you have to pay for water with your dinner .We paid the first night but didnt bother with a drink rest of the week with our meal.!!

Fantastic adults only hotel which was very relaxing with great food especially breakfast - lovely rooms - excellent swimming pool and great service by all the staff. The hotel is central to all restaurants and bars but is offset from the main town so very quiet and safe. Would recommend this hotel and we will return next year.

Great location. Close to lovely beach and shops. Staff really friendly. We went all inclusive and there was lots of choice and great value. Cocktails were fantastic as was the Baileys :-) Evening entertainment was brilliant. The bed was the comfiest I have stayed in.I will definitley stay at a Barcelo hotel again!

Great location and hotel to stay at for the money. Amazing choice of food on offer with very comfy and clean rooms to stay in. Wouldn’t hesitate to return for a nice relaxing chill out holiday.
