Regency Torviscas Apartments and Suites

Excellent apartments and amenities. The reception team both on arrival and departure were very very friendly and informative. Only slight downside for us was it was a little too far from the beach and amenities which made it very quiet however this would suit a lot of people. There was an excellent Spanish themed restaurant around the corner from the resort literally 2 minutes which served excellent food and had excellent background music.

I spent 10days here and overall it wasn't too bad. I'll start with the positives; the rooms are clean and the hotel reception and toilet areas are kept clean. The apartments are nice and have everything you need in them. The food at the hotel is lovely and the coffee at the bakery is really good too. I didn't eat at the pool so can't comment on that. The food and drink prices were reasonable too. The downside to the hotel is the lack of entertainment especially for kids. The pool does not feel clean at all. You have to walk up a massive hill everytime you go out to get back to the hotel or you can catch a taxi if you can't manage the walk. There is a supermarket at the bottom of the hill that has everything you need and great value for money. Finally, the fact there was no air con was a bit of a nightmare. The first night I didn't think I'd cope but I slowly got used to it but I would have definitely preferred some air con.

Staff are rude we went for dinner and was less than half an hour we came back and our towels was moved by staff but you can't eat food by the pool unless you buy from the pool bar they pick and choose who they allow to leave there towels there are about 30 sunbeds to the full complex rooms I had to clean myself as they wasn't cleaned properly yellow stain on bed sheet after mopping myself the water was black would not recommend this place when complaining to staff they just laugh at you or speak to you so rudely..

Having stayed in July, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. All the staff throughout were very friendly and kind to my family. The Bar Manager is a legend very entertaining and polite and funny. Happy Hour was good value, and a nice cold refreshing pint to help cool down. The bakery was very good and served nice treats. The onsite shop a little steep in price, but at times convenient. Local Shop 5 mins walk away is nice and fully stocked with all essentials. Entertainment was very basic and could probably could do with a little more life to it. However they did there best. Life guards were friendly and chatty with us. The HILL speaks for itself, taxi regularly available and cheap. Lovely Mexican inside the shopping centre to the right of the steep hill opposite Burger King. Highly recommend this hotel and will revisit

Spectacular Views The hill up to the resort is a little steep - but the views are worth it ! We checked in speedily, had a great room, views SPECTACULAR from the balcony and property, the grounds are really well laid out as is the pool area. There is always something happening with the Animation team and subtly .. Rooms very nice and were spotless, WiFi was a little patch at times. Great stay - highly recommend.

I will start with the BIGGEST downside… NO AIRCON!! Although it was advertised, you just don’t appreciate how huge this is until you awake at 3am because it’s so unbearably hot. There is absolutely no relief especially on the ground floor so can’t leave windows and doors open. We actually slept on the terrace most nights just for some air. Apartment is stocked with all you need but wasn’t entirely confident that it was fully clean. The reception staff were helpful, restaurant staff nice. The lady lifeguard was awful. Sat at the bar most days chatting to her friends and moaning and shouting at people in the pool if they splashed. No inflatables allowed basically no fun allowed. Upon check in it said no towels were to be left out but this was clearly not the case so expect the usual sunbed games in the morning. Good supermarket on site and a much better one just down the road (hill). In all honestly, whilst it had snippets of a nice place to stay for a week I wouldn’t come back. I guess you get what you pay for.
