SBH Monica Beach Resort

Такого ужасного отеля я еще не видела. А какое хамство со стороны персонала. Начнем с того,что отелб ужасно грязный. Номер мне дали ужасный,старый. Потом появились тараканы,о чем я сообщила туи и на рецепшн. Они пришли чистить тараканов пока меня не было. Зайдя в номер после их великой чистки,я обнаружила что они положили только полотенца. Так же я нашла в ванной кучу тараканов,которых они не убрали. Представитель туи звонил на рецепшн и требовал поменять мне номер,на что они согласились сделать на следующий день и сказали прийти утром. Я пришла и какого было мое удивление когда новый номер мне дать отказались. Туи пытались мне помочь и названивали в отель, но ничего не решилось. Я не спала почти всю ночь и ужасно расстроилась. Спасибо за испорченный отпуск и за вранье поменять номер!

Do not risk going here, go to one of the other hotels in the area. Nothing against SBH hotels in general, but I paid extra to go here, I could have gone to the SBH next door. Do not buy the new 'ECONOMY' it is crapppppppppp!!!!!!!!!! I am not particularly fussy but it was the sort of dive you let to kids for cheap surfing digs, only I paid 3 times what I would recommend. I'd try the SBH crystal beach next door next time, it looked nice or the other SBH the other side, but that is not all inclusive so you'd have to faff with cash. There are basically 2 standards,if you are south of the dividing path (you can see it on Google maps) in the 400s or 800s you are in the slums at the side, what I presume to be the old staff accommodation, it is the 2nd class accomodation. The is is what they are now listing as 'ECONOMY', I was booked as a standard and paid extra but got shunted to slumville. The reason for the contrasting reviews is the standard of rooms in slum town, my room had a patio with a wall facing that had another public footpath above, next door I think they abandoned as it has broken chairs and rubbish blowing in their pit-eo. Bearing in mind the public footpath just outside the patio door, it was extremely dodgy, it didn't roll but scraped and jammed catching your fingers and was not in a good state of repair. The room itself was dented peeling and bashed around, nice bit of rising damp, the bathroom was old and worn with filler actually in the bath and a mirror that was dissolving bottom first. The fan wobbled and squeaked. Trims where peeling off, the bed skated around on wheels. The first night the air con started leaking, I asked if I could change rooms but I was told it was fully booked, even though I could find a room for the week on SBH own website. The rest wasn't bad, the food was ok, the staff where pleasant enough, even though most looked naffed off. It was cleaned and the service was good.the location is nice, but outside the hotel there is very little else. I'm sure the rest of the rooks are nice but this hotel is a bit too spread out for my liking too.

Wir sind kurz vor Ostern von einem Hotelaufenthalt im SBH Mónica Beach Resort zurückgekehrt. Das Hotel hätte Substanz aber, aber….. schon bei Anreise waren wir über die ungepflegte bahnhofsähnliche Lobby verwundert. Das spärliche Mobiliar war abgenutzt und schmutzig. Das Einchecken war erst gegen 15.00h möglich und es gab keinen Kofferservice, was bei der Weitläufigkeit der Anlage und ihrer Hanglagen sehr unschön ist. Das Hotelzimmer hatte einen schönen Blick, allerdings wies die Dachkonstruktion des Balkons starke Risse auf, so dass man befürchten musste, dass sich Gebäudeteile lösen könnten. Im Zimmer selbst löste sich zum Teil der Verputz wohl infolge Nässe ab. Die Liegeflächen am Pool wirkten ungepflegt, überall lag Müll herum. Die Toiletten im öffentlichen Bereich waren komplett ungepflegt, Toilettenpapier lag auf dem Boden, zum Händetrocknen stand nur Toilettenpapier zur Verfügung, Eine Toilette war dauerhaft außer Funktion. In der Bar wurden die Tische nur zögerlich abgeräumt, Die Stühle waren verschmutzt. Die Afrika Bar hat eine marode Bestuhlung, in der Ecke gab es eine Müllhalde. Das Essen war oft nur lauwarm und es gab keine Bezeichnungen für die Speisen. Kakerlaken gab es im Zimmer sowie auch im Restaurantbereich. Wie das Hotel zu angeblich 4 Sternen gekommen sein soll, ist schleierhaft. Daher kann man das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen und wir werden es sicher nicht noch einmal buchen.

Grundsätzlich sollte das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis berücksichtigt werden. Die Anlage befindet sich in einer wunderbaren Lage, die zum Entspannen und Genießen einlädt. Das Essen ist gut und reichhaltig, besonders für Liebhaber unverarbeiteter Speisen, von denen ausreichend vorhanden war. Leider gibt es einige Aspekte, die dringend verbessert werden sollten. Die Apartments sind deutlich in die Jahre gekommen, und die sanitären Anlagen benötigen eine umfassende Erneuerung. Warmes Wasser war selten verfügbar, heißes Wasser überhaupt nicht. Die Reinigung der Zimmer erfolgt nur sehr oberflächlich, und die Bettwäsche wird zu selten gewechselt. Zudem wurden Motten festgestellt. Vorhänge und Sofas sind stark verschmutzt und bedürfen dringend einer gründlichen Reinigung. Im Außenbereich der einzelnen App.fehlen Liegestühle, was den Komfort erheblich einschränkt. Der Service an der Rezeption lässt ebenfalls zu wünschen übrig: Bis auf eine Ausnahme wirken die Mitarbeiterinnen unfreundlich und wenig hilfsbereit. Reklamationen werden unhöflich entgegengenommen und führen zu keinerlei Verbesserung.Wir monierten ein Zimmer am Ankunftstag Wechsel wurde zugesichert,erfolgte nicht! Ein weiterer negativer Punkt ist das Verhalten einiger Gäste, die durch das Reservieren von Liegen mit Handtüchern auffallen. Dieses Verhalten sollte vom Hotelmanagement auf das Schärfste unterbunden werden. Somit beschreibt dies ein wenig das Klientel welches dort vorherrscht.

Honest Family review. The animation team for our girls age 7 and 8 were absolutely fantastic! Some stand out staff within the team! Our girls absolutely loved it! The main poolside is generally clean this time of year only one of the pools is heated. The slide pool only one slide working and in need of some tlc but ok for an hour. The beach is beautiful and on your doorstep the Africa bar has beautiful views again tired but nice for an hour looking out to sea! The rooms of which we were clearly in the overflow original block were very dated and tired! It was clean enough for me not to be asked to be moved if we was here for longer than a week I wouldn’t definitely of done so! We was barely in it as it wasn’t that comfortable and no views. The food was ok repetitive but always something to have so we were all fed and watered! Would we come again? Yes probably but only for a week, I would ask for different room and at the right price! The girls loved it and happy children makes for happy parents!

Unfortunately not a great experience and the last day was the worst. The late checkout was not available, we were promised to have access to one of the rooms to take a shower in the afternoon. However, our slot was given to someone else. When we finally got to the room (no 514) , there was no towels (despite receptionist rudely arguing that towels were there) . Room was absolutely disgusting ( see pictures attached). Mould on walls, lights full of water hanging off the ceiling. Bad smell and bugs on the floor! Other than that hotel was overcrowded. Reception staff would only pay attention and take time to talk to the German guests. Not enough staff! One receptionist for over 800 guests! Dinning area loud and constantly crowded. Food cold. Sun loungers cheep and not comfortable. Life guard too busy collecting plastic cups and cleaning broken glass at the pool instead of keeping eye on the pool.
