From the minute you walk through the front doors the feeling of total relaxation hits you, the staff are always so happy to see you and from that first welcome drink the holiday starts. The bar is fully stocked with a wide choice of drinks, the outdoor pool is cold but very much appreciated in the warm weather! The indoor pool is warmer and lovely to float around in. The Despacio spa centre provides the most fantastic massages! The food is varied every day and there is entertainment in both bars nightly. The animation team has something going on during the day be it aqua aerobics or bowls! A great hotel in a great beachfront location. Remote but perfect, just great.

My favourite time was with Wajid of the animation team. He is a huge asset to the hotel. Kind, interesting , helpful and energetic. Great games and yoga with him was the best experience. Loved my week at the hotel. I’ll be coming back next year for sure.

We have just returned from a 7 day all inclusive stay at the hotel. Check in was good, our room was not ready so we headed off for lunch. The room was spacious, clean and in a nice quiet spot. We were very disappointed to see construction work being carried out around the pool, we were not told in advance by Tui and decided to wait and see how it affected our holiday before raising it with Tui direct. Saturday and Sunday were fine, no work…….Monday arrived and our peaceful relaxing family holiday changed. We found a spot around the pool, now you can only access the pool from certain areas as the flooring around the pool is being dug up and replaced. Barriers have been erected on all bridges and areas around the pool are not accessible. Out came the kango and the work men started to dig up the concrete, then came the angle grinder to cut the tiles, then came the opening of bags of concrete with the clouds of dust wafting over the pool. Next came the dumper truck, it came across the pool area to go pick up bags of concrete! We contacted Tui who advised that they had spoken to the hotel and that the only work left to do was 2 days of painting! I assured them this was not the case and they then referred us to the rep. We went to see the rep who said that Tui were told by the hotel work would be finished by the 20th, clearly this was not the case. We were told to come back the day before we left and if work was still not finished compensation would be paid. Communication between the hotel and the travel company seems to be lacking and inaccurate. Onto the hotel itself, the food was ok, very average. The staff are great but the hotel does seem to be understaffed as service can be slow but they are trying really hard to cope. The hotel is really clean and all areas are really well looked after. The one thing that really stood out for us was the entertainment staff, Wajid was amazing, he got us all involved, our family took part in many of the activities, he knew our names, he came and found us to ask if we wanted to join in, he was very visible and really did make a huge effort, he quite clearly loves his job and he is a credit to this hotel, thank you! If you are due to visit soon, check first that the work is finished, especially if you like to relax around the pool. We did try to escape to the furthest area away from the work but so did everyone else!

We had not stayed in a Hotel for a while other than short stays, so this is somewhat of a different stay for us of 10 Nights normally we have stayed in villas or apartments. We had sourced the Hotel from a previous Island visit and liked the local beaches. The Stay was Lovely and apart from a Jeep Safari trip to Cofete we stayed on the local Esmeralda/Sotavento beach. We normally hire a car to tour but found this Hotel to be ideal.Great Location, nice good quality meals at half board and pleasant and courteous staff. Our Room with a Sea view was very comfortable with a large Beds together. On arrival, we were issued with wristbands which had a chip in them which allowed you to open the room door and register any spend such as Drinks ect during the Day and Evening meal. We had been pre warned and offered the chance by Jet2holidays to change accommodation due to possible Noise and Dust as there were renovations happening with new tiles being laid in the Pool area but this did not cause any issues. An app downloaded on to your phone enabled you to have all the Hotel information as a guide. It would be good if the technology in the future could give you an update of any additional spend. We found the Hotel was of a Very good standard with additional Coffee's and alcoholic Drinks ect at a good price. We really enjoyed our stay and would be more than happy to return sooner rather than later.Thank you for the stay
