Chateau de Courban et Spa Nuxe

This is a chateau from the textbook. Starred restaurant, super cosy and tons ambiance. It's rated 4 star, but feels closer to 5. When the ( very fair) prices are factored in, you feel that this experience was very much of a worthwhile time spent in the Bourgogne.

My second visit to Courban and this beautiful Chateau. Last time (July 2024) a mate and I finished our road trip here and the experience was truly amazing from booking in with Manon to the extraordinarily magnificent room and the most amazing food I'd ever tasted. This year I took my wife at the end of our Italian road trip and the only thing that had changed, apart from my companion, is Manon had gone and Patricia greeted us. What a lovely lady who was both interested and interesting, thank you for your lovely welcome. The experience didn't disapoint once more and can only be described as exceptional, the room was lovely once again comfortable and with great views over the courtyard. The tasting menu was of course different but the effort and skill in preparing, and delivering exceptional food wasn't wasted on me or my wife, it is truly a step up from anything we've had before. I had the 5 course my wife could only manage the 3 course but with the Amuse Bouche we were both very satisfied. When you've finshed dinner stand outside by the steps into the main building and listen to the amazing frogs!!

C’est un petit château vieillot qui doit attirer les anglophiles. L’accueil y est agréable, le personnel dévoué. Dommage que la piscine était en travaux. La nourriture y est très bonne. Très belle carte des vins Beaucoup de beaux bourgognes. Vaut la peine

Nous y sommes allés en couple pour 1 repas. Excellent et très original. Une nuit. Chambre agréablement meublée. Un soin sur mesure, au top, tout à fait ce que je souhaitais. Juste un bémol par rapport à l'entretien des extérieurs qui laissait quelque peu à désirer pour un établissement de cette catégorie

Belle prestation dans un endroit isolé. Les critères 4 étoiles sont présents. Accueil, propreté… et petites attentions aux clients : cafetière eau produits Nuxe. Petit déjeuner de grande qualité conforme à la prestation d’un restaurant étoilé Michelin (diversité. Qualité. Originalité. Cadre)

Bel endroit , surprenant dans ce village assez rustique.Tres beau jardin, joliment aménagé en terrasses. Restaurant très agréable , confortable et spacieux. Dîner délicat et recherché avec de belles surprises. Chambre confortable très calme. Un bon weck end.
