The 5 ensuite rooms upstairs include clawfoot tubs and one common shower. The Buck room, featured here is the only 2nd floor king room. All 2nd floor rooms have central heat and air and are augmented with a bathroom heater and wall ac/heat unit. We had such a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional—our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well cared for, which made it easy to settle in and relax.The location was also perfect for our trip—just a quick 15-minute drive to The University of the South. While you can occasionally hear the train horn, it didn’t impact our trip in a negative way at all. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we’d gladly stay here again!

Great stay in a unique and charming hotel
We loved our stay here! Each room is unique and the entire place is cozy and charming. Rachel was very friendly and kind and offered a delicious continental breakfast in the morning. We’ll stay again if we’re ever back in town. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The Inn is a delightful place to originate daily excursions in the area. We were there for an event at Sewanee and it is in an ideal location for access to the University and also the adjacent communities.
