I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent stay, which was meant to be a special honeymoon trip.
Before making the reservation, I carefully reviewed the room features and specifically chose a room that included a bathtub. However, upon check-in, I was provided with a standard room that did not have this feature. When I brought this issue to the attention of the reception staff and presented my reservation voucher, I was met with indifference and asked to wait for an extended period. The receptionist on duty showed no willingness to assist and stated that no solution could be offered.
It was only after I expressed my strong disappointment and mentioned that I intended to escalate the matter to higher authorities that a suitable room with a bathtub was suddenly made available. This experience was not only frustrating but also deeply disappointing, especially considering the significance of the occasion.
As a Bangladeshi national working for years in a multinational hospitality chain, I believe such service standards are unacceptable. The attitude and response of the reception staff reflected a lack of proper training in guest relations and hospitality. The overall welcome and handling of the situation were far below the professional standards expected from an establishment of your reputation.
