Motel 6 Crescent City, CA

名不符實！訂單上説明有冰箱，結果除了一張大床，客房內什麼設施也沒有。冰箱、微波爐更是沒影的事。訂車場位置也緊張。總之，以後再來新月城，不會入住這家酒店的。

The bed sheets were stained. No microwave or mini fridge

If you're looking for a place to lay your head, a convenient walk to restaurants and even to view the ocean and lighthouse it was perfect. My husband has come service-related injuries, and the bed did not bother any of them and he slept very well. We were a short 23-minute walk to the lighthouse and the view was great. The gal at the front desk was very polite and enjoyed our conversation while we asked about things nearby. salamat po sa inyo

This hotel is located downtown and close to the waterfront. My visit was an unmitigated disaster on every level, with dirty, time worn rooms, poorly trained staff and weak management. The room was extremely basic and this was reflected in the price. The bathroom door had been punched in by a previous guest and a very poor repair job had been attempted on the outside. Overnight I noticed that the bathroom floor was wet and I discovered the sink disposal pipe was leaking (it was also blocked, with the water subsequently leaking as it trickled out). I decided that further investigation of the room was called for so I removed the bedding to inspect the bed more closely. I was horrified to discover that the mattress was very badly stained and that the topper was filthy, apparently not having been changed or laundered for some considerable time. It was very smelly. Only the covering sheet appeared to be fresh. Too late to do anything about it at this late stage, I brought this to the attention of Hannah, who appeared to be very inexperienced and out of her depth. I asked to speak with the manager but was told there wasn’t one on duty. I appraised Hannah of the issues and advised her that I wasn’t willing to pay. I was told that, since it was an internet booking, there was nothing she could do. I asked for the email of the manager and wrote to her (Connie Canavan) that same day. I received an immediate reply that denied everything and which took no ownership. I provided negative feedback to a Motel 6 service questionnaire and this did absolutely nothing to make reparation. I wrote again to Ms Canavan asking for a full refund and no reply was received. I have since raised a formal complaint with Motel 6 and asked them to take up my findings (everything was photographed) with the owner of the franchise and to re credit me with the charge. So far no reply has been received. By giving a 1* rating I am being generous in the extreme. As a hotel assessor and reviewer (Motel 6 are not aware of this) this is one of the two worst hotels I have stayed at in the world.

I've stayed at this location 3 other times... The first 2 was with my furbabies and they got use to the area. I like that the beach is across the street and yes its hella sketch but its the area in general. Just bring pepper spray... the light house is annoying but its either been super hot or super cold so the sound of the Ac/Heater drains the noise. The customer service is always superb!

It was clean, so that was a positive. In terms of functionality, they are going for the bare minimum as the toilet had the wrong shape/size seat on it and it didn't really flush all that well. The location was kind of sketchy, but being on the south side of town it was handy for exploring the Redwoods to the south. Also, I'm not sure how their soundproofing compares to other motels in town, but you will hear the Fog Horn at an un-ignorable volume through the walls every 10 seconds the entire night, so either bring earplugs, stay somewhere with thicker walls, or pick a different town to stay in. The office was not staffed overnight and there were no check out directions so when I left at 6am my last day I had to make a judgement call and just leave my keys in the room and call the number, where it sounded like I was waking someone up. It wasn't terrible for a two night stay, but I likely wouldn't choose to stay here again.
