Bonito hotel en un precioso pueblo. Tranquilo y excelente servicio

The hotel is at the edge of a stunning medieval village. The hotel was created from an original farmhouse by the owners, Sandra and Josef in 1996, and has been constantly upgraded since Our bedroom had the original stone vaulted roof, but with well designed modern furniture. The room, as do most of their rooms, opened directly on to their swimming pool. And the room had all the modern bits and pieces that you expect in a good hotel room I found the owners welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet to which you can have eggs cooked to order There is also a dinner restaurant, Monki, where we did have a good meal, but that is in fact run by others. All in all, a charming part of Spain, and a really nice hotel to pass your time there.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very relaxing atmosphere. It is a bit isolated but taxi service is great. There is an onsite sushi bar and 2 cafe restaurants a 100m away. Food excellent.

Arcs de Monells was one of the highlights of our recent bike trip. The hotel is set in the quiet, picturesque village of Monells and has a calm, adults-only atmosphere that made for a really relaxing stay. Both the hotel and the village are beautiful, and we especially appreciated the exquisite attention to detail in the interior design—elegant and thoughtful. The owners were warm, welcoming, and helpful—we really appreciated their hospitality. Breakfast was excellent, especially the scrambled eggs made to order. If you're looking for a peaceful base in a lovely setting, Arcs de Monells is a great choice. We'd love to come back.

Este hotel tiene un problema de trato con el público, y no soy el único que lo ha sufrido. Teníamos reserva en el restaurante Monki y entramos en el hotel creyendo que por ahi se accede al restaurante. De hecho, no se entra siquiera por la calle en la que se encuentra el hotel, aunque compartan direccion. Mientras preguntaba al recepcionista por el restaurante, a mi esposa de le ocurrió entrar en la sala de estar del hotel, que tenia un aspecto acogedor para ver si le apetecia venir a pasar unos dias en temporada baja. Mientras observaba, sorprendida, un aspirador encima de una mesa a la una y media de la tarde, lo que indica cierta incuria, el recepcionista desde su puesto, situado a algunos metros, le dijo que no podia entrar allí, que estaba reservado para los huéspedes del hotel, porque "no se sabe quien puede entrar". Es ofensivo, no hay otra palabra, sobre todo para alguien que iba a ir a su restaurante. Podia haberse dirigido a mi esposa directamente, sin gritar desde lejos y evitar el comentario despectivo. Tambien, de paso, hubiese visto el aspirador olvidado por el servicio sobre una mesa a la una y media de la tarde Fue tan desagradable que estuvimos a punto de dar media vuelta e irnos a comer a otro sitio. Hacía calor, teníamos hambre y por eso fuimos al restaurante. Lograron remontar la situación, que había comenzado mal.
