Hotel Huascaran is a nice small hotel near the city center. Staff were very nice, helpful and considerate. Property is pretty, a light breakfast is included and they have 24 hour reception. Rooms are basic but clean. May want to bring a washcloth, they don’t have them (or anywhere in Cusco really). We enjoyed our stay!

A nossa opção de viagem era um hotel mais simples mesmo justamente pelo fato que iriamos ficar fora em passeios o dia todo.
É um hotel bom pelo preço que pagamos, mas não espere luxos. A cama é confortavel e tem limpeza todo dia, mas não repoe sabonete e shampoo todo dia, que não são de boa qualidade então não duram muito.
Outra coisa que incomodava é que a janela do nosso banheiro dava de frente pra area de café.
Café da manhã bom, porem pouca opção, faz ovo na hora mas poderia ter mais variedade de frutas. Também não preparam um café antecipado pra vc levar no dia de passeio muito cedo, comum em varios hoteis.

Loved it! Very god location, nice courtyard for sitting and having breakfast, and super friendly staff. The hot water was just sufficient. Would definitely recommend!

Quiero expresar mi sincero agradecimiento por la cálida acogida y por hacer de nuestra estadía una experiencia maravillosa. Este hotel es verdaderamente hermoso y cuenta con una excelente ubicación. Las habitaciones son cómodas, limpias y lindas. La atención que recibimos fue excepcional; el personal siempre se mostró amable y servicial. Además, la calidad de la alimentación y el servicio de cafetería fue excelente. Sin duda, recomiendo este hotel a quienes deseen disfrutar de una estancia placentera.

Very quaint hotel located at the heart of Cusco. In close walking distance of the Plaza de Armas, the main tourist hub of Cusco. As for the hotel, it is very clean. The staff are friendly and attentive. They want to help you in any way they can. An example is that I took a taxi one night for which the fare was 20 soles. I had a 10 soles bill and a 50 soles bill. The driver could not change the 50. The desk clerk saw that we were having difficulty on the security camera so he came out and paid the fare, allowing me to reimburse the hotel the following day. As for location, the hotel is located near all types of restaurants and shops. There is an upscale restaurant located next door where they serve delicious alpaca steaks, ceviche, salmon, etc. Located just down the hill is a quaint cafe/coffee shop which serves various flavors of coffee, empanadas, and paninis. A little further down the hill is Jacks, one of our favorite restaurants. Overall, I recommend this hotel if one wants to experience Cusco on a budget yet at its finest.

This accommodation is in a great location, within walking distance of many great restaurants, cafés, and other tourist attractions. We initially booked for 2 nights, and due to a change of schedule, we needed to add one extra night. And that's when we discovered they were not as friendly as we thought. Not only did she keep harassing us for cash payment like we were going to run away, but she also asked us to move to a different room, smaller, and darker, for the same price we paid through Orbitz. The breakfast buffet was quite good, located in a very nice bright area in the middle of the building (courtyard). We didn't touch much else on their breakfast buffet, since we're not big on processed foods such as sausages. The first two mornings we were able to order two eggs for each of us, but for the third morning, they refused to give us two eggs without any explanation. The first room was more comfortable, the second room we were moved to the beds weren't as comfortable. The bathroom was clean, but patience is needed for the water pressure, etc. There was a room heater if needed. Despite the great location, we would never go back to this accommodation.
