This hotel was booked for us through EXOTICCA and was a disappointment. Itis located away from the city center we were advised to take a taxi if we wanted to go to the town center. The water isn't drinkable, we had to fix the toilet and our fridge doesn't work. Oh the noise.....until 12-1 am and it started again 4 am. The building is dingy and sad. Our room was ok but not inviting. There is no real place to relax in this hotel. The bar had no charm and felt thrown together and had an over whelming smelll of the food being cooked in the kitchen. We ordered Mojitos and they were mixed with sprite. The staff how ever were wonderful. If you are looking for a relaxing stay this is not the place!

Since we were on a tour, we didn't choose this hotel as it was arranged by the tour. All of our other hotels were very nice, but this one was not so good. First of all, it is located in an industrial area, so when we went looking for a place to eat after a late arrival, there were few options. The next day during our free time we walked around quite a bit looking for anything interesting but only found machine shops, hardware stores, garages, etc. As for the hotel itself, we found ourselves in a room with twin beds, and we prefer to sleep in the same bed, even if it is a double, but twins are too small for two people. It was surface clean, but details were lacking. The floor drain in the bathroom was absolutely disgusting, and we noticed it every time we used the toilet. We were only there for two days and nights, and on the middle day I wasn't feeling well so I opted out of the tour. The whole day staying in that room with the street noise was awful, and for one hour there was a fruit vendor with a loudspeaker walking back and forth along the block in front of the hotel, super annoying. The internet was really slow and kept stopping, causing me to have to reboot everything over and over. The breakfast buffet was fine, with lots of traditional breakfast foods, fruit, yogurt, etc., and although the second morning they offered only hard-boiled eggs, which I can't stand, they made me a couple scrambled eggs on request, which I much appreciated.

Arriving at this hotel and looking at the outside of the hotel building it was rather ratty looking. But, once inside it was very nice! The staff were really friendly! My room on the 3rd floor was a bit small but very clean. Perfect for a solo person like myself. There was tons of noise outside as there was not a stop sign or light at the intersection and people were honking their horns like forever!! Very noisy all day and into the evening. Saw an accident too! No wonder as people were driving like a bunch of nuts! Breakfast was offered but was very skimpy! I was not impressed at all. Dinners were really good in their restaurant and not expensive. Overall it was ok. I think my tour group through Exoticca could have put us in a far better place!

The rooms are very nice and clean. The gardens are beautiful. The employees were very helpful. The food was very good, both the dinner and the breakfast. However, WiFi is only available in the lobby and the rooms do not have blackout curtains.

My son and his friends traveled to Peru a few weeks ago. Pamela and the staff at Hotel Augusto's were amazing. They answered all my questions and concerns about a young group travelling together and I felt they were all in good hands. They even had a birthday cake for my son when he arrived and it was very short notice. My son said the hotel was great and they especially loved the restaurant. The food was excellent and it was very convenient to have breakfast before a long day of sightseeing. Thank you so much for the wonderful customer service!

The staff is wonderful. The breakfast was good to jump start out day. We stayed here two nights and then came back for one night after Machu Picchu. This was part of a group package we had. The first time we had a larger room and it was in better condition. The second time just two days later we had a smaller room that was in rougher shape. It was on the corner of the 2nd floor so we had noise from traffic from two sides. I think the honking is even louder because on one side of the hotel there is a large solid fence that sound bounces off of. Everything was good but bring eat plugs. We did. The first couple nights was over a weekend and there were kids running in the halls and doors slamming for half the night. The walls are really thin so we could hear everything next door. We were so tired most nights it didn't matter that much but it's always nice to know ahead of time if you need to get real sleep in a quieter hotel. You do need to take a taxi to town center. It was about 7 Sol when we were there, so about 2 USD. There is no shortage of taxis since you are on a busy corner when you stay at this hotel.

They have plenty of space and thr hotel never feels crowded, i had the suite with jacuzzi, i asked for a special detail for saint valentin and it was lovely decorated with roses, we had strawberries and chocolates and wine for a very low additional fee. I would come back anytime, in fact, it was my fourth time there, i love the place.
