"Booked the Danbulak Kandalam Heritage Hotel, but later said the hotel was full, let ’s change the hotel, changing the hotel we wanted before the trip was really uncomfortable at first, then Ctrip let us choose the hotel ourselves because of time I was nervous when I chose the water garden hotel, but I did n’t have much hope, but the staying experience was very good, the rooms are comfortable, the environment is quiet, you can overlook the Lion Rock. Returned the difference to me, very good hotel, added points for my trip to Sri Lanka, thanks"

"I made a reservation around Dambulla to rest one more day in Sigiriya, and they let me check in 2 hours early. The staff were really friendly, and the owner of the restaurant next to the pool was really kind. They also provided room service, so I was able to rest well. The hotel was spacious, so it was nice to walk around, but I recommend going to the treetop. It would be really nice to do yoga there. I wanted to go to the pool, but there were too many Westerners, lol. They booked a taxi for me the next morning and packed breakfast for me, so I was grateful. The room was the same as in the picture and was very spacious."

"不得不説，這家酒店是我在斯里蘭卡住的最好的酒店之一。剛剛開業3年，所以一切都很新。酒店是樹屋的形式，很有特色，但是完全不用擔心安全問題，酒店到處都是cctv，酒店會保證你的安全。酒店私密性很好，一共就十間房間，所以一點也不會感覺擁擠和吵鬧，非常適合度假。泳池也很乾凈，夜景也很漂亮，我會把這裏推薦給任何一位要去斯里蘭卡的朋友，雖然它不是我此行最貴的酒店，但卻是最好的最印象深刻的一家酒店。真的是一家寶藏酒店～希望它生意越來越好^btw 早餐是set menu，很好吃，也很豐富～"

FFrancisco Gonzalez ManzanoJust a short walk from the bus stop, this gem of a guesthouse is hands down the best place to stay in Sri Lanka. The owner goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, always offering help and thoughtful advice. He even arranged for a local tuk-tuk driver at a very reasonable price, ensuring I had the best experience exploring the area. Every afternoon, he would check in and offer a delightful cup of tea, making the stay feel extra special.
His wife’s cooking is an absolute highlight—breakfast was not just delicious but prepared with so much care, adding a homely touch to every meal. The room itself was super clean, big, and incredibly comfortable. From start to finish, they both made me feel completely at home. I can say this was the best accommodation I experienced during my time in Sri Lanka, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a truly memorable and comfortable stay.

IIanAmazing hotel, wonderful hospitality and beautiful views. If you’re visiting Danbulla/Sigiriya, I would recommend this place if you’re up for pleasant experience. Special shout-out to one of the staff, tall young chap who works evening shifts (didn’t get his name), aided us with booking a tuk tuk for our early morning trip to sigiriya rock and even checked with us after we came back our trip. Outstanding.

AArabinOne of the best hotels I lived in Sri Lanka, running by a local family. They are very nice and hospitable and even provided very delicious local breakfast with wild honey and welcome coconut water. The room was a quite big with high ceiling, clean and all the stuffs were available. The hotel is in the closest location to climb the rock mountain called Pidurangala to view panorama view of Sigiri and sunrise and sunset and very close to Sigiri Lion Rock as well. The hotel can provide car and jeep services. Jeep safari to see a herd and other wild animals were quite an experience to feel the wilderness and nature. This hotel is 100% recommended when you are in Sigiriya.
If you need a car service for city to city travel, here is the service provider, called Danu and his contact number is (0774) 642 805. He is a nice and humble guy with certified local guide. We got his service from Sigiriya to Kandy to Yalla to Colombo, the trip went very smooth and we are happy that we covered all the attractions places with his assistance. Highly recommended!!

GGuest UserThis hotel is really beyond our expectations. It was dark when we arrived. The hotel staff greeted us at the door. Everyone was smiling and the service was very good. The hotel is surrounded by forests and has an excellent original environment. The rooms are very large and the hygiene is also very good. Breakfast and dinner are also delicious with different choices. When we woke up in the morning, we could hear the peacocks calling and we saw cute monkeys. I highly recommend this hotel!!!

MMark RizzutoOur least popular hotel stay in Sri Lanka. We checked in for 4 nights and needed to ask for a room change the following day given the toilet smelt and slowly kept flooding the bathroom floor. That problem clearly pre-existed, but given most people only stay a night, It wasn't something that was high on the hotels priority list to address. The coaches come and go carrying 55-70 year old Europeans and Chinese, and they only stay a night. The level of service at this hotel wasn't a great experience, with reception needing management attention. There were exceptions (pool guy and luggage porter were both lovely).
The most frustrating thing about this hotel is that they should be rocking it. It's a great location, nice pool and a good setting, but that's where it stops. The rooms and restaurant are physically tired. Food was pretty average bordering poor despite being plentiful in choice. They had live music playing at night, which was so 'live' that it sent us to sleep early two nights in a row. Great idea, terrible execution, and that is pretty much how we would sum up the place.
It's no surprise that the hero promotional shot used by the hotel to market it's hotel is the photo of the view from the swimming póol to Lions Rock. Sadly, that's the only hero experience to be found at this hotel.

XXIANDONGGarden-style hotel, with beautiful scenery and large rooms. There is also a welcome ceremony when arriving at the hotel. There are not many people staying at the hotel. The most funny thing is that from the lobby to the room, the bottle car cannot pass the path smoothly. At that time, the design was not thoughtful. The overall feeling is that this hotel is a relatively high-end hotel in the local area, which is good in all aspects, but remember to give a little more tip, otherwise you can just shake your face and show it to you

The lobby decoration is very distinctive, and the room is not big but comfortable and clean. There are not many types of breakfast, but it is a pleasure to sit in the beautiful lobby to eat. PPaullakaoThe hotel is very close to Lion Rock. You can see Lion Rock from the swimming pool, and the entire hotel is spread among towering woods with towering ancient trees. The environment is comfortable. There is a pool outside the door of each room, which is also a feature, but there are mosquitoes🦟.
The food in the hotel is, well, edible. If possible, it is recommended to eat at the restaurant street 500 meters away. There are many excellent choices.
Service, if the tip is big enough. Here, the front desk staff is very aggressive in not giving change. Although this number is not a big deal for tourists, I feel very different when I tip and when my change is deducted.
Maybe because skin color is less popular. Because this is a Western world? have no idea.

The room was clean with plenty of space. Air conditioned and comfortable beds.
Breakfast was really good: fruit, roti, coconut pancakes, eggs how you want them, fruit juice, other bits too. Our table was hardly big enough to hold it all.
An excellent location to visit Lion Rock and several restaurants and bars within walking distance serving local and western options.
