Booked last minute, liked the look of the location. Better than hoped for. All amenities close, shops, buses, bars and restaurants. Off the main road, so quiet. Lovely pool area, nice room for budget range. Beach and main town both close. For the price, hard to fault. Would definitely go again.

First of all it’s April. We’ve had some lovely days but also a few cloudy and cold ones. But as I said it’s April. The pool has been chilly Chania is just a few miles away (Doratso is really just a suburb of Chania) and only 10 mins on the bus. It’s an amazing town. Full of history and lovely people. The harbour area is beautiful and it’s backed up by small streets that are easy to navigate and a great place to lose some hours. The hotel itself is really good. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The beds are snuggly and for self catering in Greece (and I’ve done a few) it’s pretty good! Loads of local shops nearby. A few decent tavernas but get into Chania where the choice is x100…. The local beaches (only a few mins walk away) are stunning. The Greeks all come to them so that should tell you everything. The only thing I would say is that it can be very busy! You’re just off a main road. Industrial car sales and very large supermarkets. (so food shopping is easy) For me that’s the only reason I wouldn’t come back. I’d love to see it in August or July…Apart from that I can’t fault it and if you’re coming to Crete then Chania is a must! And the apartments are top drawer including the all the staff which are lovely.

We had a lovely stay at the Nireas hotel from the 24th September until 4th October. Our arrival and getting keys was easy. Christos was very helpful throughout the holiday. The apartment was cleaned every day. The pool and bar area, kept clean at all times, work was carried out continuously to keep the garden areas tidy. We had a great holiday x

We arrived in June 2024 at this lovely Hotel. The Accomodation and setting lovely. Very clean and spacious apartment, with comfortable beds and hot water in shower. Could do with updating, but no complaints there. Sampled the breakfast was very nice. Very disappointed that the Pool Bar was hardly ever opened, no draft beers or Ice creams. We were told to ring or WhatsApp Christos if we wanted the Bar open. Not easy to socialise when the Pool Bar is not operating.

Il s’agit de la pire réservation que j’ai pu faire de toute ma vie. Les rideaux n’empêchaient pas la lumière d’entrer dans la chambre donc incapacité pour nous de faire des grasses matinées en pleine vacances . La robinetterie a un très gros problème car on entendait tout les bruits de chasses d’eau et de douche ce qui était INVIVABLE. Le réfrigérateur faisait trop de bruits on a du l’éteindre dans la nuit pour dormir et le réveiller chaque matin. Trop de moustiques malgré la prise mise à disposition quand nous sommes arrivés certaines traces d’insectes tues sur le mur. Les chiens aboient toute la nuit donc impossible de dormir aussi. La climatisation normalement incluse comme l’insonorisation devait être payée 5€ par jour. Malgré ma plainte auprès de l’hôtelier et de booking rien n’a été fait pour aucun de ces problèmes. Je ne passerait plus jamais de ma vie par booking. Réception rarement présente voir inexistante bref une déception. La Crète est une île grandiose j’y retournerai mais jamais dans cet hébergement qui nous a gâcher toutes nos nuits.
