Seven Stars

Stayed for a weekend and took two of the best rooms on the top floor which is the third floor. The place just has a dirty feel to it — carpets are filthy where their staff traipse upstairs from the kitchen to use the toilet all evening long (see the photo of the filthy carpets). It’s a very old building and there’s one staircase / fire exit, no fire exit signs upstairs and it feels like if there was a fire then there’s no chance of getting out. My review might make it seem like I’ve got some kind of grievance but I really don’t; I’d just avoid staying here if you possibly can.

Went to the Severn Stars bar for Sunday lunch,thought it was expensive to start with until the meal came out...one off the best Sunday Roast We have ever had.Staff were very helpful.thank you. would recommend this bar to everyone,and would go back next time were in Dartmouth

Stayed one night while walking the SWCP excellent evening meal of in the bar of moules frites well kept Jail Ale and Otters. Comfortable room (2) with a good shower, tea making facilities, fridge and a TV Do not offer breakfast, but there are lots of places nearby that do.

One night stay staff were friendly and helpful - I called to say we would arrive late a table was reserved for us food was superb with great choice. A delightful bar / restaurant with gorgeous homely pub feel to match the location. Our room was great with everything you would expect at a reasonable price

We chose this restaurant as 4years ago we had a wonderful fish dinner. This time it was all a bit average. The furniture is getting old and worn. I had to ask for my chair to be changed as I could feel the frame through the tired cushion cover. The upstairs was extremely warm so was desperate for fresh air. All in all a bit disappointing. I might try again next visit to check I wasn’t just unlucky.

We booked two nights in this hotel. The room was great, it was spacious and clean with a modern bathroom. We were provided with tea and coffee making facilities, with fresh milk in the room fridge. We ate in the pub one evening and had a delicious meal. Mark and Leah looked after us extremely well. We will definitely go back
