Talabgaon Castle Heritage Resort

What a one-of-a-kind experience we had here! The castle is used for weddings and other special events and we were certainly made to feel like royalty for our special occasion. Abercrombie and Kent created a very unique experience for our group lunch at the castle. First, we were all transported to the castle by small, camel-drawn carriages. The town villagers showed up to welcome and wave to us. We brought several bags of candy ***** with us for our India trip and the children went bonkers over the sweets (even more than we had anticipated or desired). The kids walking ***** beside our carriage turned crazy when they saw us handing out candy and we were immediately mobbed. It took some serious effort to calm things down so everyone could receive a few pieces. Once we arrived at the castle, we were serenaded by musicians and a dancing horse-man. A great feast then ensued and we were entertained by some very talented dancers. This was one of our trip highlights and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. King and queen for a day, a royal and festive experience.

A 200 year old Heritage Hotel located in Dausa. The property is wide spread. It has various categories of rooms. Dalel Suites were very spacious. We went for village walk, tried our hand at kite flying anddid a bit of bird watching. Food is good and was served to us in different venues. Highly recommended for a short stay.

This is a truly idyllic location. An historic building with all the modern facilities anyone would need. Dinner inside or out with fires, high quality food all freshly prepared. The rooms are vast and well maintained. We stayed in the main building but the new rooms in the recently completed annex were beautiful and equally large. No expense has been spared in this renovation. The staff were top class led by Hej Singh a true gentleman. I wish we could have stayed longer and we will definitely return.

We had an overall wonderful stay here! It’s charming, authentic to traditional India culture, and was a lovely experience. The staff was so attentive and were always around to make sure we were taken care of. We enjoyed a nice camel ride around town, lunch outside in the garden, and tea by the pool. The food was the most delicious food we had in India so far. I would highly recommend staying here!

Make sure you ask the price of drinks. We had two half-bottles of ordinary wine (white and red), and were charged £24 for each bottle. Either that was the proper price, or someone was on the fiddle. We left there with a bad taste in the mouth.

Very horrible and bad experience .rooms were stinking bathrooms were not cleaned ,staff were not professional. Room service was poor but the very worst thing happened with me I forgot my gold chain in hurry as were asked to change the room the next day as it was already booked prior ,we changed the room and in hurry I forgot my chain and it get stolen I asked the staff but not got any response from them .I will not visit this horrible property in my life again but request all of you beware in booking and if by chance you have to visit pls be careful with your valuables as this place is not at all safe.
