Four Points by Sheraton Deadwood

Great location. Very comfortable beds. Service was good and great food

Great place, just a few minor things. Stayed for the car show, Cool Deadwood Nights, third year in a row. We enjoyed our stay, great location, but this year a few quirky things. 1. We had requested a year prior 4 rooms together, four coupes. We were told they couldn't do anything until the rooms were booked in January. We waited, made the same request, twice between January and May (confirming) and both times we were told 'no problem'. We arrived at checked in and nobody knew anything about the request and, in my opinion, were a touch rude about it. No effort was made to resolve, just "we can't make any promises". 2. Breakfast was $20 for a buffet; many other options within walking distance. 3. Parking seems a bit disorganized, but granted, it was a VERY busy weekend. 4. No benefits for Marriott card holders. No big deal, just letting you know. 5. Would not accept reservation for next year. Neither good nor bad, just is. Most hotels in the area do for this particular event. Like a said, great place, would recommend, but it was expensive, and we may look around for next year.

If you were to give a rating solely on attitude and trying hard rating would be a 5. Location is good as was having outdoor seating on either side of property. Where there could be improvement is in recognizing Marriott members who are using property. Also, it would be nice to offer room cleaning daily instead of every third day. Covered parking is very sought after so you should be there by 3 p.m. to secure.

Convenient to everything in Deadwood! Great staff, clean, comfortable rooms. The beds were very comfy and the outdoor spaces are great places to meet up, especially the one off the lobby with the very long fire pit. A short crawl from your favorite saloon or eatery!

Stayed from Saturday to Friday. After having management guarantee our vehicle and trailer would be safe in the only available parking (welcome center on side of town) someone rear ended our trailer and busted the side mirror off. THEN we are told “not their problem”. The room was never cleaned the entire stay and had to try to chase down “housekeeping” just to get some clean towels. Sink barely drained and then to top it all off found a bug in the bed night before checking out. Will never stay anywhere near this place again!

I stayed a few nights here and it was awesome! The front desk was amazing. Special shout out to Colie and Macenzy. They made my stay extra special. They gave me good recommendations to places to visit while I was in town and just was overall so kind. I ran into housekeeping in the halls and everyone was so friendly! I thought I should add that out of all the hotels I stay at this is the cleanest and most well kept one I have ever seen. I loved it here so much I decided to get a Tripadvisor just to say how much I love it. I will be back!
