Premier Inn Derby East

This hotel by far is the worst Premier Inn I’ve stayed at. We had to move room three times, each room was filthy, paint flaking off the walls. On one room there were filthy hand prints on the walls, even a shoe print on the ceiling. I could go on and on about the state of this hotel, suffice to say it made Faulty Towers look good. The breakfast was a joke as you can see from the photos. I’ve stayed at other Premier Inns which have a much higher footfall and they have been immaculate. Please do yourself a favour and avoid this hotel at all costs. They obviously get a lot of business from nearby factories and it just looks like a workers cheap hotel which has been used and abused. Avoid.

We visited here for a quick over night stay with breakfast. What stood out to us the most was how vigilant the staff were at breakfast concerning my daughter who has celiac. They had a great variety of gluten free options - including bread and muesli - and her meal was cooked separately in the kitchen. The staff member Simon in particular was very friendly and checked in with my daughter regularly, making her feel very at ease. Thank you!

How great it was to say here again with Darren and his team in charge. They are a great team that are very helpful and very pleasant to talk too The food was great with a great selection to choose from and the room very clean and tidy so i am looking forward to staying again.
