Apart from the rude awakening of the fire alarm going off at 6.45am everything was excellent, comfortable, clean and in a good location for amenities.

Perfect for staying overnight after watching Sarah Millican at Derby Arena. Less than a 10 min walk. So relieved we stayed there after seeing the traffic queues to and from the arena.
2 min walk to Frankie & Benny’s for food. Excellent friendly service from everyone we met on reception. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Lovely and clean and modern. Decent price for rooms and parking. Would definitely recommend it.

This has always been a great place to stay, made even better since the refurb. We stay here for the Download festival, and Teresa and her staff always make you feel welcome. Car parking is payable, but very cheap for the area. Rooms very clean and well maintained. They make sure for the festival that extra touches, such as bags for your boots, and a late bar and food is on. Nothing is too much trouble if you ask. Spot on.

I am a regular here and i have to say the staff are amazing and very welcoming, Rebecca and Ellie are more than accommodating when on shift. The happy hour offer is great and the rooms are always clean! Great location I couldn't ask for me. Thank you

Greeted and checked in by AYO lovely receptionist really helpful on check in, lovely clean room comfortable stay, credit to all the house keepers room was spotless. Rang up for ground floor Room on end of corridor really quiet stay. Thank you to the staff excellent hotel after refurb will be back again soon

Stayed with a friend post Download weekend. I'd lost my essentials bag whilst slumming it in a field and by the time we got back to civilisation I just wanted to get showered ASAP! Teresa was really friendly, helpful and full of knowledge of the local area. She told me where there was a home bargains so I could get sorted quick and at minimal expense. Thankyou for a pleasant stay, the room was clean and tidy, everything I am used to with Travelodge
