Roost Detroit

Love the concept of having your apartment inside a 5star hotel!

Clean, well stocked and decent service

We were in Detorit so that I could attend a baseball game - my 30th stadium! We lucked into the Justin Verlander retirement game. We picked the hotel for walkability to the stadium and to restaurants. The room was perfect with one exception - not enough trash cans. The apartment was well appointed and the bed was comforable. We were worried the street noise would bother us, but the bedroom came with a sound machine and that did the trick!

Everything was great except the beds need to be secured. Our neighbors headboard was banging our wall all night. Pretty trashy aspect for an otherwise classy hotel.

We stayed at the Roost - Detroit for a wedding. The hotel was outstanding. The service was impeccable, the apartment style room was incredible, the location was perfect. Every detail was considered in making the stay perfect. My husband wanted me to add that $50 valet was crazy to him but I will add that there is plenty of overnight parking within walking distance (including garage parking) that is less expensive. I just felt pampered and that the hotel was worth the price by far. Wish I could come and stay for a week!

I could not be happier. The place was wonderful. It felt like home. We had a full kitchen with an island. Three big screen TVs. A great workstation. The location was fantastic. Everything was great. The only thing they could’ve added was a second sink in the bathroom.

Fabulous Hotel. Home away from home feeling. Room amazing. Location great. Place is clean. Good value. Great bake goods upon checkin.
