"Great value - i booked two queen bedrooms to accommodate our family of 5. I left before the buffet breakfast opened but they had take away breakfast bags for us to take."

"The hotel itself is fairy nice and clean. i had attended the hotels roof top candle light 5 course dinner for a hefty price tag of $24 thousand taka. The wait staff were polite and attentive as expected. Then began our nightmare of an experience. We were first served a mushroom soup and fish cake and calamari. The soup was nothing exceptional. Just a mushroom soup you can make at home. The fish cake was ok but the tarter sauce was really bad. The calamari was just flat out soggy. Then we got a shrimp salad that just just made with PLAIN MAYO! It was disgusting. Finally our main course was surf and turf. Our steaks were ordered well done and medium. Bothe steaks arrived at our table and as soon as i tried to cut into my steak which was to be medium, i was shocked and i asked the waiter is this steamed? To which, the waiter responded, YES SIR the steaks are steamed. STEAMED STEAK? ***? To add insult to injury my wife's steak was medium rare when it was asked to be well done. ALSO STEAMED. This was supposed to be our marriage anniversary 5 course candle light dinner. Thanks hyatt uttara Dhaka for ruining it. We did not bother touching the main course. We were so disappointed that we walked out and didn't even bother to look at dessert. The manager on duty just came and apologized and asked if we wanted to have the meals to go? They packed up the steamed steaks meal to go. Can you believe it? We told the waiter to keep the meals for himself and walked out. We paid the full amount for our meals. At the very least they should have waived the charges. So we paid 24 thousand taka for a meal we barely touched the appetizers, did not even touch the main course and desserts. We will NEVER go to this hotel's restaurant nor will we recommend it to friends or family. It's too bad there is no minus stars to rate this experience."

"Close to the embassy area, I pass by every time I take a taxi back, and I feel safe; the hotel provides three meals a day, which is very good. The boss helped us to save food when we came back late, but I was a little carsick and wanted to eat something light, so the boss asked the chef to cook noodles for us, which was especially authentic Chinese! My colleagues ate it very deliciously! The boss is also responsive to any requests, which is really a great help for wanderers! You can let the nanny wash your clothes, and they will be neatly folded and placed on the stool at the door after washing, which is very convenient👍"
