最後一晚住的水屋，215房間是朝外海的方向，海浪有一點大，沒有沙屋的沙灘適合浮潛，但也特別美。建議沙屋水屋都住一下，完全不一樣的感受，都很棒

This was by far the best stay we’ve ever had! The resort was absolutely stunning, the cleanest rooms, the best service, and the most amazing staff we’ve ever encountered. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and professional, and they truly made us feel at home. We came here for our honeymoon, and we honestly couldn’t have picked a better place. It was the perfect choice, and we’ll always remember it as the most beautiful and relaxing experience. Everything was beyond our expectations! A very special thank you to Senia, she made our stay even more special. Her kindness and attention to detail were everything.

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub im Hideaway: unsere Ocean Villa mit Pool und direktem Meerzugang war sehr grosszügig und toll ausgestattet. Den eigenen Pool mit Düsen auf der Terrasse haben wir ebenfalls sehr genossen. Unser Butler Myra war immer für uns da, super freundlich und hat für uns alles organisiert (selbst unser Koffer bei dem auf der Hinreise der Griff abgerissen war, wurde repariert). Die Insel ist für die Malediven mit 2km Länge ja eher eine der grösseren und man konnte mit den bereit gestellten Fahrräder immer Restaurants, Strände, Sportbereiche und Spa wunderbar gemütlich erreichen. Die Strände sind malerisch und das Wasser unheimlich klar. Wir haben auch sehr das Schnorcheln am Hausriff genossen: vom Strand aus begann das Hausriff nach ein paar Metern und man hat unzählige bunte Fische in allen Grössen und Farben bewundern können. Auch die beiden Infinity Pools sind wunderschön. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, empfehlenswert ist all-inclusive da die Preise schon recht gehoben sind. Der Service in allen Restaurants war super, insbesondere wurden wir immer wieder in der Sunset Bar von Kamlesh verwöhnt.

Visiting the Maldives has been on my bucket list for quite a number of years. Finally started making concrete plans over a year ago. Shoutout to Jenny @ Reef and Rainforest Dive & Adventure Travel for helping make this happen. We booked a 10 night stay at the Hideaway Beach Resort which included 3 nights in the overwater bungalows and 7 nights in a beach front suite. Upon arrival in Male and getting through customs we made our way to the kiosk stand where we met a representative from Hideaway who would hopefully help us with getting us to our seaplane transfer to the resort. The representative was unable to find our booking at the Hideaway on his paperwork. I provided confirmation numbers in my paperwork, and there were a few calls made back and forth before it was determined we were supposedly booked at the Lily Beach Resort, which is a sister resort to the Hideaway. Well, after some heated discussions, the representative said his contacts were trying to see if there was availability at Hideaway based on the types of rooms we wanted. The was availability, but I had to cover an additional costs, which led to further heated discussions. But I wanted to get t Hdeaway and relented. I had confidence once our travel agent back in Canada was able to step in and investigate, things would be made right. I’ll add here that she indeed do so. I would like to thank the representative at the Male airport at the Hideaway booth for keeping a calm, professional attitude during that time. You handled the situation very well. I’m sorry for not remembering your name but wanted to give you kudos Seaplane transfer to the resort was a wonderful and exciting way to get to the resort. Upon arrival at the resort we were greeted by drummers, a lei, and staff in a line with warm, welcoming smiles. The checkin lobby was wonderfully cool with a/c, a cool face cloth, and a drink. This is where we met our wonderful concierge Mira. She was such a delight. Once we completed the checkin process, Mira took us on a buggy and showed us the different areas/restaurants on the island, and then on to our overwater bungalow. She showed us the room amenities, and then let us enjoy our room.i final felt I was truly here and on vacation. Rooms - Overwater bungalow and Beach front Suite - very roomy and comfortable. We enjoyed the patio and private pool. I particularly enjoyed it at 2:30 am, seeing numerous stars since I was usually awake still trying to get over jet lag. Both rooms had bottled waters, coffee, beer/wine, and snacks available for consumption, and were replenished daily. We liked the layout of the beachfront suite better. The bedroom was in a separate room. Food/Restaurants - in a word, fantastic! Main buffet for breakfast and dinner were plentiful and very tasty. The fresh fruit was great. Selection was awesome. The view was magnificent! Though the buggy car service was sometimes delayed, the kindness and enthusiasm brought by the staff cheered me up. We went to see the dolphins by sunset, and that was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Snorkeling was fun but I recommend learning how to swim before you come here. In this way, you wouldn't have to spend time taking lessons, which wastes your time here. Also, having proper swimming skills enables you to try more water sports. As for the staff, all staff members are eager to aid you with any assistance needed. Many thanks to all the staff members who assisted us, including our butler Echo and the front desk agent Citra. It was a great pleasure that we traveled to such a pleasant and memorable place!
