We had the absolute pleasure of staying one night at LISIMAN 丽思漫丨心宿·穹庐四野供氧庄园（香格里拉店）, and honestly, words alone cannot do this place justice. Surrounded by majestic mountains, wide open grasslands, and freely roaming animals, the setting is nothing short of breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff (unfortunately, we didn’t catch their names after our long journey). Their hospitality was genuine and thoughtful — they introduced the room facilities thoroughly and even took the time to check in on our travel plans, offering to arrange transport to Shangri-La Railway Station the next morning for our onward journey to Kunming. We stayed on the 3rd floor, and the panoramic view from our room was simply stunning — lush green grasslands dotted with horses and cows as far as the eye could see. There was even a charming little white pony on the premises that made our hearts melt — so cute and incredibly friendly. The hotel also provided laundry service and an inviting high-tea session. Breakfast the next morning was a delightful spread featuring hearty local dishes, a lovely way to end our short but memorable stay. If time had allowed, we would’ve stayed much longer. This place is a rare gem — serene, soulful, and truly rejuvenating. We will definitely return. Until then, our warmest thanks to the entire team for making our stay so special.

It was 8pm when we arrived. It was dark outside and we were too lazy to go out to find something to eat. We had dinner directly in the hotel. What a surprise. All the food was good and cheap. The yak hotpot was highly recommended. The beef was large and tender. It was very sweet and delicious. In the morning, the brother drove us to Feilai Temple to watch the sunrise over Jinshan Mountain, and drove us back. The service was very good👍

We love the big clean spacious room with nice view. The room is so big that we can fully open 2 big luggages and still have plenty of space. Located in the heart of the old city, with many shops and restaurants around. The bed is very comfortable, and they provided oxygen machine and humidifier, which are great for high-altitude stay. There is a sofa in the room, too. The operator is very friendly and helpful. He even woke up early to send us to the main road as it will be challenging to lug our luggages along the uneven ancient road. Will stay at this hotel again if we come back to Shangri-La. I had a truly memorable stay at this hotel, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the staff eventhough they can’t speak English but they tried their level best to communicate via wechat and translate.From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of. What really stood out was how they helped arrange transportation for my trip to Lijiang and even coordinated my transfer for the Balagezong tour. On the day of my trip to Balagezong,the staff personally sent me to the nearest bus station by motorcycle to make sure I caught the right bus on time—something I never expected, but deeply appreciated. This level of care and attention made my journey smooth and stress-free. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and cozy, but it’s the warm and genuinely helpful service that made it special. Exceptional Stay at LAN YU Plateau Section Hotel I recently had the pleasure of staying at LAN YU Plateau Section Hotel, and my experience was nothing short of outstanding. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and elegantly designed with a perfect balance of modern and cozy elements. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the linens were of premium quality. The large windows provided a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape, making the stay even more enjoyable. The amenities were excellent, offering everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The hotel’s fitness center was well-equipped, the swimming pool was pristine, and the spa services were truly rejuvenating. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the in-room minibar had a well-curated selection of refreshments. The hotel is in a great location, right next to the ancient city, and a few minutes' walk to Moonlight Square. It has its own yard and is very quiet. The room is spacious, and the toilet is separated into wet and dry areas. The mattress is very comfortable. The boss is a handsome guy, very nice, and he took the initiative to contact you to ask if you need a pick-up service, and also introduced you to fun places.

The homestay located on top of the hill & room has great view directly to the temple in Guishan Park. The room is completed with smart devices, heated floor (as even early spring still feels like early winter) and toilet has bidet as well, that made our stay even more convenient. Both brothers who run the homestay are helpful, nice, and friendly. They provided welcoming drink include snacks and fruits. They also offered for pick up & drop off service to railway station. They also gave us small gift as souvenir on our last daaay. Thank you so much for the hospitality during our stay & wish more success for your homestay. Definitely will come back, when visit to Shangri-la.

A perfect homestay. We arrived late at night on the day of our arrival, and the homestay arranged to pick us up. The staff were very warm and helpful, even bringing us hot milk in our room when we returned in the evening—extremely thoughtful. On the day of our departure, they also drove us to the train station. The price was very reasonable as well.

This is by far the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to China. The hotel is equipped with all modern amenities, especially the toilet with an automatic bidet (something that’s not found anywhere else in China). The room was incredibly cozy with modern heating facilities, and the host even provided an oxygen machine (though I didn’t actually need to use it). I truly felt that it was worth every penny for the two nights I spent here. One of the highlights was the adorable and friendly Ragdoll cat that lives here! The hotel owner even allowed us to bring the cat into our room to play, and it was just so sweet and playful. Moreover, the host offered us a free pick-up and drop-off service at both the train station and the airport, even though it was 7 in the morning! I honestly have no complaints about this hotel. If you want to enjoy a fantastic stay in Shangrila, book this hotel now!
