Do not book you here through Expidia or any other online booking website. During check-in they pretended they could not see the reservation. We should have taken that as a sign but given it was almost midnight and in a new town to us, we showed them our ******* booking and persisted they give us our room. At check-out the next day, the staff aggressively demanded that we pay in cash because the credit card ******* provided declined. We tried to explain the stay was prepaid through Expidia and they refused producing a fake email from ******* instructing them to charge my card. The lady called her colleagues surrounding us and aggressively coerced us to pay extra in cash (over and above what we had prepaid on *******).
Then when I filed for refund through ******* showing evidence of payment, ******* is now taking me in circles lying that the hotel said we upgraded the room which is a big fat lie. We never requested for an upgrade and they are only saying this to avoid refunding the money. I do not know if the owner of Morena is aware of what his front desk staff do to steal from customers and harrass them but if you can, avoid this place at all cost and certainly *******.

Unprofessional staff. Issue with hotel and ******* bookings. Staff demanded i pay directly to them at check out, even after showing them ******* recipet and booking confirmation. Felt like a scam. Rooms are run down, bathroom dirty. Staff was called to clean room while i was in the room. Not recommended.

This is one of the old Hotes in Dodoma. In General there are not many Hotels in Dodoma, and when there is Government meeting you need to grab what is available. Pro: location is good.rooms size is big and there is a balcony for each room , bed is very comfortable. WIFI is good and you have it all over . Staff are nice and welcoming Con : room price is on the higher part. The hotel is old and outdated including the rooms. Air-condition In the room is small compared to the size of the room. At my stay mine didn't work had to open window which led to another issue, there is construction site at the back of the hotel (my room was facing the back) so it's very noisy and they work late hours ( even at night). Room are outdated Restuarant service was very slow , 45 min to get a salad. Bar wasn't stock. Not all the staff members speak English but they are trying. In Summary try to find a "newer" hotel, if not this is a decent option for sleeping , I would recommend to eat outside.

Very spacious room. The Wi-Fi worked pretty well. The bed was pretty comfortable. The room was clean. The restaurant was so-so, I didn't fancy many of the breakfast options. Anyway, the hotel is fine for business travel.
