This is my second visit staying in this hotel. Unfortunately, this visit will be one of my last based on my experience, the original room which I had was spacious & airy which gave me the confidence to book again, when I booked for my second visit, I ensured it was the same room type, when I got to the hotel, I even asked the receptionist to provide a room similar to the room that I was staying in, I was assured this was the case.
When I got to the hotel room, it was evident quite quickly that the room was not of the same size, what also was an insult was that this room was in poor condition, the water when first turned on was a murky brown colour, the simple things like a soap tray was missing, there was graffiti on the desk, the curtains were ripped, the desk had marks which is either of an insect or another angry customer kicking their shoes on why they recieved this room.
I immediately rang the receptionist to inform him that the room given was not as advertised & that I wouldn't even spend a night in this room, I was then provided another room which was in a smokers floor (I requested non-smokers floor), high floor (I requested low floor) & quiet room (I am on a floor where I assume is full of families as the corridors are constantly busy with kids running around). No access to reliant WIFI.
I now know not to rely on this hotel for future visits, it is a shame as my first visit was the complete opposite, please do not let the hotel fool you into paying for sub-standard and outdated rooms if you have picked the room of a higher standard as per your booking.
