The room was quite small and there was no space to hang up clothes. However, taken into account the cost, I would still recommend it for short stay.

So I’ve been to this ibis budget on two different occasions whilst on field coordination activities where the ibis budget Dubbo was heaven sent. It’s an Ibis budget people I really can’t u sweat and when they expect the Taj Mahal on a budget rate people need really to get real. This budget offers friendly good basic accommodation. Clean sheets, hot showers and FREE parking. In a pretty good spot and does have a pool aswell. Late arrivals are catered for with entry instructions and courtesy call. I enjoyed my stays and met some lovely fellow travellers from all over the country.. Accor Plus Platinum 🙂

We booked a family room online, arrived and was given a different room, once we got into the room we realised it didn't have enough beds so we told reception who told us they made a booking mistake and shouldn't have us in that room because it's not big enough (well duh that's what we said) then they told us they could kick us out because they shouldn't let us stay in that room because we had too many people - but they had no adequate size rooms left and wouldn't refund us... so we stayed one night out of 3. Obvious issue was not enough beds, pool was under construction so we didn't use it, however we probably wouldn't have used it anyway, it's in the parking lot ... weird. Toilet and shower couldn't be any closer to each other if they tried. Ladder to the bunk was so close to the wall my tiny 6 year old struggled to shuffle up there. Bed was comfortable and we expected uncomfortable due to the price but this was I might as well sleep on the floor uncomfortable, but I wouldn't because the carpet was nasty too... I get it's got budget in the name.... but it's kind of below budget.

Quickly stopped overnight whilst travelling the Newell. Didn’t need anything flash. Greeted by very friendly and sociable staff member. Obviously a small room, but satisfactory amenities and clean. Facilities for tea and coffee nicely stocked. Conveniently located next to a nice pub, where we could grab a decent meal without having to drive. The smoking area could perhaps be situated in a better spot than next to the bin in the accessibility parking spots. Thanks for an easy stopover!

My daughter and I stayed one night as travelled further out west and again on the way home. It is a budget hotel so some of the rooms where very compact & others were larger. We found the beds comfortable with good sheets and the rooms very clean. Breakfast was basic continental however had a good supply of various food available. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I sacrificed my points to cancel our return stay to this establishment as I've never been to such a small room hotel in my life and the sleep quality was very poor, the pillows were extremely thin and the beds very low to the ground. On arrival our host gave us a key card that didn't work I was told it worked so I went back up the stairs still didn't work, back down he came up and nope door electronic didn't work. After several attempts he offered us another room that wasn't ready so the last resort was apparently the good room I would of hated to see the first room. Our 4 suitcases filled the room you could not walk around the beds, the Breakfast supplied was OK. The only saviour for this place was the staff they were helpful and tried to make sure everything was good with what they had to work with.

The sheets were clean also towels. The room could do with a clean. Carpet thread bare and dirty. Stairs and Passage way no better. Breakfast average. The fruit in the bowl was going off. May need a visit to the Canberra Ibis for afew hints. The Hotel is close to Restaurants so you only need to walk to Dinner.

This facility is very tired and in need of some TLC. The room was small, with inadequate power points, threadbare carpet, a hole in the wall and noisy air conditioning. It was difficult to find the car park entrance, particularly when travelling from Parkes. The staff were amazing, we appreciated the assistance getting luggage from car to room. The word budget is in the name of this hotel. This is a true indication of what you get for your money. The continental breakfast was appreciated but the promised barista coffee was not available.

Very very basic rooms, not even a fridge in the room. All cooking has to be done down near reception. Breakfast was $10 and it was continental. We didn’t stay for that. Very noisy area with a lot of people slamming doors. Over flowing bins. Very outdated room. Ripped carpets and marks all over the room. When showering the shower streamed everywhere into the bin, onto the toilet everywhere even with the disgusting shower curtain closed. Don’t try and turn a power point on in the bathroom otherwise you will get a shock - literally! As you walk in there are people in the car park smoking and loitering, didn’t feel very safe at all. Reception staff were absolutely amazing! So helpful and really nice. To get in and out of the place you must do multiple u- turns

At the start it seemed like an average place for a cheap price and the man who checked us in was very helpful and informative. But after feeling very unsafe and unsettled throughout the night with constant door banging and knocking on our door and other doors, as well as stains in the carpets and overflowing bins. As well as the shower head holding itself on for dear life. But to top it all off we had our bikes stolen from the back of our car which were very well chained and locked on. Even though signs and staff told us it was a safe car park and it would be okay. The morning staff weren't much help with the situation and were fairly rude. Don't recommend visiting unless it is necessary.
